Started sending my Lyndon here roughly 18 months ago, by which point he had mastered English and French and was conversationally fluent in German. I had wanted a place to send our little gooner to further his intellectual development/spiritual edification while I was shackled to the millstone, as my wife (a doctor, either a neurosurgeon or a podiatrist I believe) had recently issued an ultimatum vis-a-vis my persisting lack of employment since March of 2011. For this reason, I was freshly in need of a service to superintend our son, as I would no longer be at home in my study, nose likely buried in my Milton; rather, I would be shoulder to shoulder with some hooligan or other at one of the local eateries, chafing my knuckles for a pittance every day. Coming as I do from a long line of Harvardians, this seemed the natural choice. After a month, they had him reading Latin. After two months, he had read Virgil in the original. At the end of the first year, he had read the complete works of all the major tragedians (also in the original Greek and Latin, of course) and was composing in Latin, both poetry and prose. Needless to say, I am overjoyed. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a child as precocious as our Lyndon, and will likely be sending our second child Lysistrata to join him once she is born.

My grandson has been bit twice within a 3wk period..after the 1st bite you would think they would pay closer attention to the kids. I stayed in one day for about 2-3 hrs & I had to tell one of the teachers hey that kid is pulling that little girl hair. Why are they not focus on their job, which is to watch the children. We are looking for a new daycare provider, sucks for my grandchild that he will have to adapt to a new surrounding

You have to give at least 1 star to have my review posted. I would not give this place any stars, but want to share my disappointment with everyone, so that people know what really takes place. My experience in the Early Transition program for 10-15 month old children was HORRIFIC!! My experience with the director was awful. The teacher's in the room did not interact or initiate conversation with the 6 children for two hours! During a bubble activity, there was no language used to explain to the children what a bubble was or looked like or felt like. It took two verbal cues from myself to say a poor young girl needed her nose wiped before any one got up and wiped it. The girl was eating her snot. When the kids would fall down and cry all the adults would do was say oh get it, there was no comforting from the adults. The poor kids were only offered table food regardless if they had teeth and could chew it up. They used tap water to make formula bottles. The kids had to lay on the ground on a very thin mat to nap. The adults allowed a child to help pat another child on the butt to go to sleep. There was music on in the classroom, which had no meaning to the young children. One teacher was busy trying to cut out a craft for the children, who were too young to do it. They never offered the children water, although it was very hot in the room. The children were clearly not getting the nutrition they need. It was very painful and disappointing to sit and watch. When I addressed these concerns with the director, she attempted many techniques to smooth things over, such as intimidation (she said you and the teachers can banter things out), then switched to saying she would address it with the teachers and not tell them which parent it was, and then finally resorted to asking if my child would be attending. The behavior i observed in the classroom did not match the Mission Statement. Thank goodness my child only spent a total of 4 hours alone there, which was enough, because when I walked in my child was in tears due to falling as one teacher was sitting on her butt on the ground and the other, can you guess, was doing crafts by herself. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They do not provide a language rich environment and do not provide a high level of quality care.

My son started here at 18 months in the Transition room. I was terrified because he had been at home with me since the day he was born with maybe only once or twice with grandma. i wanted to add this review because it was what I was looking for in deciding on a daycare. I had already put a deposit down on another daycare when I found this one. It was recommended to me by someone in my mom group and I am so glad I found it. His vocabulary has grown immensely and he even knows a couple words in sign language. I have a ton of art work and, much to my motherly dismay, he doesn't even look back when I drop him off now. A child development professor told me great things about this place and, she was right, I have no complaints about this daycare. They call whenever anything happens. I love seeing him so happy. I hope this helps someone else looking for a day care.

Went to this place weeks ago waiting for someone to call me back but I knew there was something off about the preschool. I walked in for a tour, that I had called in prior to take the tour, when I let the women at the front desk know that I had arrived she began to get agitated. She wasn't able to find someone who can show me around the school, I did tell her that I had time and I could wait because I was interested in the school. The maybe like 3 minutes she was waiting for someone to do the tour she was upset, still told her that I could wait but she decided she would do it and she was upset about having to do the tour. At this point I realized it probably wasn't going to be the best tour and honestly it wasn't. I had questions she didn't really answer because she said that I should wait and the person who ran the school would call me, the person never did, I did try to ask her about potty training because i an having trouble with potty training one of my children and she said that I need to try harder at home. I work 40+hrs a week I depend on them just as much as they need me to follow through at home, but anyways she basically made me feel like I wasn't doing good or trying hard enough. I'm willing to give this place a second chance but you guys need better representation.

It is an amazing school from the looks and the name. But, when my baby went there she was treated like garbage and she kept losing stuff like her underwear and then she still gets bullied and the education is garbage along with this system
