For the past two years, I have been a dedicated student at the California College of Ayurveda (CCA). Before enrolling, I had my doubts and took the time to research and speak with representatives from various Ayurveda schools. After thoroughly examining the curricula of different institutions, I concluded that CCA offered the most comprehensive and extensive program available.

Throughout my time at CCA, I have been consistently impressed by the quality of education and the dedication of the faculty. The instructors for both the PAM and CAM programs are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely wonderful people who are passionate about teaching and supporting their students.

One of the highlights of my experience has been my interactions with Dr. Marc, whom I have had the pleasure of speaking with on several occasions. Dr. Marc is an incredibly kind and patient individual, always willing to listen to student feedback and provide thoughtful guidance.

My positive experiences in the CAM program have solidified my decision to continue my education at CCA and pursue a master's program. I am confident that this path will further deepen my understanding of Ayurveda and enhance my ability to contribute meaningfully to the field.

After finishing the PAM Distance Learning program, i can share about my experiences so far that the course material is interesting and overall good structured to follow. It can help us and others for the rest of life here on earth. The Distance learning program provides good flexibility and and can be very beneficial for some people, especially when somebody has a good personal organization and motivation.

In my opinion, the time provided to talk to the master Teacher is not enough for the amount of money that one has to pay. Often you have a 15-30 minutes talk once a week with your teacher. There is nothing much you can deeply talk about during this time. Also, feedback/questions were more than once not answered back by the Academic department.
The final exam could be taken online without any proctoring, which is unprofessional.
The advertisment/marketing that i receive trough Student support as a current student is very pushy with what i call "psychological mind playing" which really left me out of words.
Overall, i sadly feel it is a lot about making money, more than to really help and to support. This overshadows in certain ways the Divinity, which lies at the root of Ayurveda.

My feedback may change according to possible future experiences.

I am gaining so much deep knowledge about the ancient healing system of Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda. The educators and staff are so knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me on my journey through Ayurveda. It’s a true gift to have this college accessible for anyone interested in exploring holistic self care!

I want to thank Samantha Peebles for being professional and patient, while answering a whole host of questions for me including financing. My son selected the California College of Ayurveda to continue his education. I am confident in him attending here. I am excited for my son to learn more. He continues to apply these teachings to his personal life. Now, he will be able to use what he is learning to help others. What an exciting journey!

I've enjoyed my time studying at the California college of Ayurveda. The experience has helped me grow as an individual, the teachers are so warm,welcome and knowledgeable. They aim to inspire each unique student to be the best they can. The financial and enrollment staff are all very friendly and understanding. I'm currently an intern as a health counselor and will most likely continue my education here.

I participated in the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy certification with Dr. Marc Halpern and Dr. Marisa Jackson-Kinman and have nothing but positive things to say about this program. They each share their wealth of knowledge and have beautifully prepared this training program. I felt the program was well organized with lecture, practice and integration time. I loved how they each made sure we understood the material before moving on, which gave me confidence as a teacher. After participating in this certification I have integrated the Ayurvedic knowledge into my yoga classes. I stay in touch with Dr. Halpern and Dr. Jackson-Kinman and they are always willing to help answer any questions I have. I highly recommend the Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy program to any yoga teacher looking to immerse themselves with deeper knowledge of Ayurveda.

The college has provided the tools I need for life-long success in health and well-being. The staff is well educated, professional, and kind. A career can easily be produced from Ayurveda as the college provides information and wisdom for every step in the journey. My decision to ultimately change my life for the best was made first by applying to the California College of Ayurveda. The ancient, scientific knowledge of Ayurveda has given me the opportunity to increase my potential to heal in every moment of every day.

I originally attended the Yoga on High Ayurveda School --which worked through the California College of Ayurveda (CCA). This afforded me the convenience of attending Ayurveda classes in my hometown. Unfortunately, Yoga on High's Ayurveda School closed unexpectedly, but it was no problem at all because the CCA quickly contacted us students, helped us transition to their school, and waived several of the fees to help make traveling to CA for the internship more affordable. They were so kind and professional.
