Totally broke my heart. Lost my job several months back. It's been a real rough year on my family. Finally we hit the lowest of low right at Christmas. I finally admitted defeat and decided that we need help with food , as we get back on our feet. I had my phone app. I was explaining to the worker that I had tried door dashing for a day or two. Made like $14.00. who would have thought that 14$ blocked me from ordering a new card since she don't know if I'm approved, since I have to verify that income. I mean I've made 14$ in 30 days. There may have been one other day i made about 30. So minimum 14 maximum 44.00 in 30 days. Like am I crazy either way it don't max out the income aloted for 2 people. 44.00 even 100$ is far far below eating, living, Christmas, my son's 13 birthday tomorrow. My entire account is held up and I'm not approved to get help with food. Over an email where i tried out door dashing. I see the entire amount like still far far lower than what we need to live and this lady was judgmental and well we have to have proof of the 14 dollars. She asked how much I make weekly how often. I was like.... It's not a job. It was something i tried that didn't work well with living outside the zone. Or bc my vehicle had gone down. I could spend a few hours trying again and try and get some money for Christmas but now I'm afraid to add another 14$ and get totally cut from them! Guess we have to do without and pray for a better new year. I can't get enough help to help myself. With or without proof of 14 dollars. I could guess by her tone that when I turn it in.... I'm still denied. She thinks that already.

these “workers” never answer the phone. each time I’ve called, I can never get anyone on the line so I have to pack my kids up & go in person. also, the ladies at the front cost me half of my allotment for not turning in my signed paperwork! horrible county, horrible “workers,” horrible EVERYTHING.

Suppose to get paperwork for review in mail
And didn’t so my family and my kids have to suffer and do without because the caseworkers didn’t do their job and then they’re gonna tell me well it happens like it’s just some normal OK thing that my family has to do without for 10 days until they get it right !!! ( Mrs Henderson ) (Mrs George ) these Do not need to be handling anybody’s cases

The telephone number that is on Google is not a working number. It's a phone number for computers only. There's no other way to call and talk to someone. I give you less than a one-star rating

I have not spoke to a representative,yet so I could ask a question 😅
I guess I needed to call 60 numbers and then was hateful to me...I only get a small amount so they don't need to hurry for the needy person...to ask questions
