I can't express enough how grateful I am to C2 Education for the incredible support they provided in helping my son get his SAT score. C2 was an incredible place to learn. As a high school student, I was nervous about the long journey ahead for test and college preparation, and C2's dedicated team of compassionate and hard-working instructors constantly put these stressors to rest. In fact, while I came here to start preparation for the SAT and ACT, I actually left with far more than I expected. C2 in Vernon Hills is a great place for kids to learn and prepare for college. We started working with them since my older kid preparing ACT for college back to 2016. Now my younger one is with them for her high school work and SAT/ACT.
They have incredible tutors like Michael and Fan. They are not only knowledgeable but also know how to get student's attention, interest to learn. My kid was struggled with some high school subjects, with their tutoring, she got understand better and also reached her goal to get A for the subject.
Not only their great tutors, I would like to thank their front desk Josh who is very easy to work with for scheduling. Their director Mr. Macro, Ms. Lupe are very responsible and supportive. With my busy schedule, I always forgot to schedule a meeting with them. They will call me to schedule a meeting to go over my kid's progress and prepare a personalized study plan according to our goals and expectation. I can't say enough to thank them.
I am looking forward to continue to work with them to prepare my kid for college.

An amazing place for kids who are interested to achieve their academic and life goals!

Just spoke with Marco, their center director. He is such great mentor with knowledge of the books (IQ), as well as the understanding of EQ, SQ and AQ.

I also learned that this center is not only have a great tutoring program, but also provide college readiness and college counseling for kids who are ready for life beyond high school.

I am ready to ask for their help for my kid, and will come back with the results in the near future.

If you are reading these reviews, you are probably looking for academic help or guidance for your child. We wanted to help set our son in high school on the right academic path so we signed him up at another C2 location in the area and to say we were unsatisfied with the results at the other location would be an understatement. There was no goal setting, accountability or metrics discussed to track his progress. Through a fortuitous set of circumstances, our son ended up at C2 in Vernon Hills for several sessions and we immediately noted a stark difference in how proactive and active the team was in helping contribute to our son's academic success. Needless to say we immediately and permanently transferred him over to Vernon Hills.

Marcos and Josh run a tight ship and have an amazing team of tutors. Sage, Michael, Kevin and Anand have the academic pedigree that we all dream of as parents and the results to show for it. It is worth it. To get the results that are necessary to help your child get to where they want to be takes time and effort and C2 Vernon Hills are generous with both. We have regular conferences with Marcos who gives us no BS assessments on our son's progress and goals. We highly recommend C2 Education in Vernon Hills!

C2 Vernon Hills center is very unique and it stands out in many ways. Apart from having the tutors who are best in the business, it comes with a unique second home feel which helped my son tremendously. I truly appreciate how they have created and had maintained this ambiance over the years. This center and team here is one of the finest examples of how the teamwork matters and it is not only just about the academics and the expertise of the tutors. Be it front desk, tutors or counselors, and not to mention the leadership and center director, they have only one goal. Identify the areas where the student needs help and then go above and beyond. It is in this C2 center where my son had found so many mentors under the same roof and that did a world of good to his confidence and helped him excel not only for the SAT ERW, but most importantly, as an individual.

C2 has provided me with lots of support in SAT practice and college applications. I have been going to C2 Vernon hills for almost a year and they helped me raise my SAT score from a 1250 to a 1540. When I first joined I was very lost in the process, however, the C2 tutors were very knowledgable and supportive, helping me through all my questions. Not only were they able to dramatically increase my scores and test taking skills, but also improve my confidence in my abilities. I would definitely recommend C2 Vernon Hills.

My son took 50 hours of lessons with C2 that included ACT prep as well as college essay writing. We are happy with the way they worked and communicated with us. We were able to schedule lessons as needed with the instructors we preferred. The instructors worked with us on our goals and provided great insight and strategy. There was frequent communication on his learning. ACT prep is expensive but we had a great experience with C2. I’d recommend them. If you do want to get professional help I will recommend starting in junior year or early senior year to give you enough time to apply and become familiar with test strategy.
