This facility is the worst I have ever been at they lie to you make you work short and want you to jeopardize your license caring for over 30 + residents!! They expect three nurses to have access to one cart and the control narcotics box definitely a no no if you care about your license !! The scheduler lies
The don is rude incompetent and doesn’t care nor help, the administrator is just a body hell there and they wonder why they got several IJ tags!! You can take a break go smoke weed or drink alcohol and come back to finish your shift they won’t say anything to you!! Even better for you if you don’t like the set you’re assigned just walk out and come back the next day you will still have a job while management team is a joke except for restorative nurse!! Definitely not a good place to work with the team they have in place

Took a tour with Carol. She was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Our family has chosen this place and we could not be happier.

I have a close family member residing at BRIA of Westmont and I can’t stay enough good about the caring team. The care has been exceptional - more than what you’d except in a nursing facility. Originally we planned to bring our family member home, however plans changed. The administrative team was helpful in accommodating our family needs and communication has been great including phone calls, emails and scheduled care plan meetings. The therapy and restorative teams has been attentive.
It’s also nice to know they are making updates of their 2nd floor - making my family member’s adjustment even better.
Great work BRIA Westmont - and thank you for caring for my family like they are your own. See you on my next visit.

Had to put one star in order to post otherwise NO STARS. This place took my dad off dialysis ( he was end stage renal disease) and left an infected dialysis port in him and discharged him like that! He wasn't even home 13 hours before I had to send him back to the e.r and he was immediately put back on dialysis! Why was an end stage renal patient sent home like that AND no plan of care no medication NO nothing he was dropped off at home like a sack of potatoes. He passed recently never got better after that experience his body just got worse. Only reason he lived a couple months more was because he was at a different facility. Bad experience and nobody cares.

Bria of Westmont is my first experience with a loved one in a Nursing home. I have to say that after looking at multiple facilities I decided on Bria and I'm glad I did. From the Nurse, Kelly to CNA's like Shadee, "Mona Lisa" as my mom called her and a couple of others, they made the experience pleasant. The place is clean and outside is very nice. Many places to sit and talk or work if you are like me and multi tasking while visiting. Its never easy having a parent in this situation but they took the time to get to know my mom and me. My mom was there 7 months and this place became almost like a second home due to the time that I spent there and they the staff treated me and my mom very well. I know that nursing homes in general are understaffed and come with alot of issues and this place is not perfect BUT I'm glad that I could sleep easier knowing that my mom was being looked after.

My uncle was here and when I would visit I was not at all happy with the treatment I was some of the residents get. When me and my dad brought him back to his room I walked pass an employee yelling her name at a residence just because she keep calling her by the wrong name. I was appalled at how she was speaking to the older lady and the Lack of compassion that employe has. And the food sometimes is left in their room for way to long. I’m happy we were able to get him out of this place.

My sister has been a resident at Bria for the past 2 years.
The neglect and poor treatment there never ceases to amaze me. There have been numerous instances where she has been injured by wrongful treatment from staff.
She goes 2-3 weeks without having a shower. Most recently her roommate vomited all over the floor next to her bed and it took hours for it to be cleaned up. When she wheeled herself down to the nursing station to get a response, as they never answer the call light, the CNA told her if she didn’t like it to clean it up herself.
That place is hell on earth. Unfortunately one of few places to accept medicaid patients.

Placing my grandmother at BRIA was the biggest mistake EVER. The facility is dirty and smells foul. I have heard the aide's tell patients to "shut up" when they have dementia and are simply just confused. The aide's do the bare minimum and I don't believe they complete their rounds like they're supposed to. I wish I could transfer my grandma, but it's just too late. I have so many regrets about this choice. There is awful communication between the facility and the hospice. They were administering a drug that THEY KNEW my grandma had a reverse reaction to- causing her so much unnecessary discomfort and pain. The front desk staff is also rude- one woman was on her phone as I asked her a simple question and she ignored me. This is extremely hurtful and disappointing given visitors are there to see their dying family members. I know nursing homes aren't nice in general, but this one really is a disaster.
