Ultimately I wouldn't recommend them or use them again based on my experience, and here's why:

After my existing projector burned out some pixels I started shopping for a replacement, landed on an Epson QB1000. Couldn't buy it direct from anywhere, had to go through an authorized dealer. Called to ask about buying one and picking it up (to install myself) but they didn't want to do that, instead they asked a bunch of questions about what I was looking for and came back with a suggestion to sell me a 90" Tv to replace my 110" protector setup. I rejected that offer because my water shutoff is behind the screen and the hdmi wasn't wired to that wall. They spent more time researching, said what I wanted could only be provided if I was willing to double my budget from the original $15k I stated. I asked again about just getting the Epson, and also asked what models they found that offer what I want in the 16-30k range, they couldn't list any, in fact they came back and said the one I found is the only one that offers all that (so what exactly were they trying to sell me for double my budget). They required full payment up front before they would order parts, and they chose a 6" extension (I mentioned my ceiling in the basement was ~8' in the initial call) so with the projector and all install parts, it put the bottom of the projector 17" from the 8' ceiling. I asked if there was a shorter option during the install and they ordered a 3" and came back a week later to install the shorter extension.

I paid a total of $9,712 for a $8,000 projector that I picked out myself.The additional $1,712 I paid over the cost of the projector came from
- $401 for travel time and labor (including charging me 130 in labor to come back and install the shorter extension, and they let me find out I was being charged labor for the return trip when they sent the invoice)
- $269 for RPAUW (msrp $169)
- $82 for CMA110W (msrp $55.95)
- $24 for CMS006W (msrp $19.20)
- $271.22 3% Credit card fee

They did eventually get the projector in a bit less than a month after I paid in full for all parts, and install guys were pleasant, however all they did was screw the mount to the ceiling, install the projector on the mount, plug things in and loosely adjust zoom/focus/lens position; all of which I had to go back and finish up after they left because the image was crooked to the screen, so ended up both projecting beyond the edges of the screen, and didn't fully fill the screen (one top and one bottom corner didn't fill to screen edge while the opposite corners went about 1.5" beyond the screen edge)

The projector mount components weren't ever fully tightened (this is true after the initial install and when they came back to install the shorter extension) so the projector would wobble around when anyone walked upstairs. I had to tighten everything myself, including a full 360 degree turn of the projector on the extension arm, and tightening the thumb screws down completely. (Twice) I had to finish leveling the projector to the screen as well, as it was projecting at a slight angle when they left. (Twice)

When the projector first came on the picture was very washed out, so they adjusted color/saturation/gamma settings that I later had to go back and undo, as the image got way too saturated after it had been running for about 15 minutes, and resetting all of that to default provided a nice image. They did not do anything I would expect from professional installers, such as white balance, color adjustment, lcd panel alignment, adjusting lamp brightness, etc.

So now if I want that professional touch, like white and color balancing, after paying Bravas $1,712 to do what I could have done (and wanted to do) by myself, I'll need to find another installer and pay more money, because I paid $1,712 for a level of detail I'd expect from a handyman hired to do the install for $200.

Bravas installed low voltage automated systems in our new home a few year’s ago. The company provides top of the line products. They installed low voltage lighting, automated shades, wifi, security and TV systems. It was only recently that I can comment on their after installation service. There was a glitch in the low voltage lighting system. Their tech, Trevor, did an amazing job identifying the issue and resolving the problem. His dedication, persistence and great customer service makes me a loyal Bravas customer. As a customer, it’s the continuing care after installation that sets companies apart. Trevor truly honors Bravas’ commitment to service!

The Bravas team - Travis and Jordan - were very professional and responsive, and provided an excellent sound solution for our home. The install team - Devon and Mike - were always on time and did a fantastic and thorough job. We appreciated their hard work and quality focus throughout the project!

We have been with this company for the past 7 years, starting back when they were RSI. They have been nothing but EXCELLENT when it comes to customer service and responsiveness. They are extremely knowledgeable in correcting glitches that can be inherent in any home automation system. Lately we have been fortunate to have TREVOR working with us. He goes above and beyond explaining a problem and how he fixed it. He makes sure everything is operating appropriately before leaving. He is highly intelligent, highly professional, and takes his time to make sure the job gets done correctly. Other staff are quick to trouble shoot over the phone. Kyle even spent over an hour with me on facetime going through the system after a lightning strike. Everyone we have worked with at this company has been wonderful! I highly recommend them!

Kyle and his team at Bravas installed a wonderful Control4 system in my home a couple of years back. This morning at 5:30AM I got a new phone and was unable to connect my new phone to my system. Within 10 minutes of receiving my email Kyle was on the spot to provide the password for the system that they installed and troubleshoot my situation. I couldn't imagine any better service than I have received from start to finish of my Bravas tech system. Thank you!

We went to this location looking for help with an automation project based on the prior review of 4.8 seen in Google. I have lots of experience with projects as I have done many and this initial encounter was anything but 4.8 star service. This project was going to be out-of-town and so wanted to see fabric choices for a motorized Lutron shade system we were putting in. We were told that we couldn't look at any samples because since they were not going to be doing the project, it "costs them money" for the samples even though we were not interested in taking any, just looking. We were also told that we could set up an appointment with a sales person on another day. At that point, it was clear that the guy was not interested in helping at all. I'm glad he didn't try to charge me to use the restroom. From a business standpoint, not a smart move because even though this project was out-of-town, we live locally and will be doing more projects in the future on our own house here in town. After this initial interaction, certainly can NOT recommend this place and would go with a more established place like Listen Up which has a very professional staff and front office who are happy to help even not purchasing anything. The only reason we went to this location was because ListenUp did not have the particular Lutron fabric selection book today we wanted to see as it was with another customer and we wanted to order shades for our project and wife wanted to personally see the sample rather than rely on an online picture. We went to Digital Media Innovations after our terrible experience here and even though they were in the process of moving to a new location (expanding because they outgrew their old location), the people were very happy to help even though it was close to the end of the day. No wonder DMI is expanding as the people they have working there want to help you! This was exactly OPPOSITE of the horrible initial customer service experience we got with Bravas which sends the message that if you aren't ready to spend money with them, they are not going to lift a finger to help you with a project. While they may have great people who can design and install and do other aspects of a project, their initial front desk people who you will initially interact with are not. The same guy who said he would have a sales rep call earlier in the day, never followed through and I never got a call hours after that initial phone call. It was one of the reasons we came to the store as well since we were not getting a call back...turned out to be a waste of time. I gave a rating of 2 stars instead of one because after driving all the way to get there, he at least let me use the restroom without trying to charge me for it. Caveat emptor (let the buyer beware). I rarely leave bad reviews but am doing so hoping that the owner(s) can be made aware of what is going on in the front office. I am sure this is probably a good company but initial impressions are everything and this certainly was not a favorable initial impression.

We selected RSI’s based on their expertise and man are we happy! RSI performed work for us on multiple projects spanning 5+ years - including a customer home theatre system, outdoor video/security system, and an outdoor entertainment system complete with an outdoor TV and sound system. It’s easy for companies to satisfy your needs early on in the relationship, it’s another thing when they go above and beyond post sale to deliver an exceptional product - that is exactly what Ty, Chris, Travis, and the rest of the folks with RSI did for us. I highly recommended RSI. Hire the best and forget the rest!
