My son joins Brain Powers’ summer camp program. He loves it so much and asks to spend more weeks here! He has significant progress in chess skills and also learned from various board games/activities. We appreciate when coaches teach them the right attitude when it comes to difficulties/obstacles and build them confidence.

Brain Powers is THE BEST enrichment for children in northern Phoenix. The coaches are caring, engaging and enthusiastic. I have two children - a boy and a girl - who have been learning from these coaches and they love it. There is no better way to build my children’s critical thinking and creativity skills. I’m beyond thrilled with the outcomes delivered to my children and my family. I can’t recommend BP enough!

My son LOVES the coaches at Brain Powers. He always wants to go to chess class/club and has so much fun while learning, too! He's also enjoyed playing/learning the non-chess games at camp. Most importantly, as a mom, they are super great with all the kids and genuinely seem to care and enjoy teaching. My son is only 6 and they seem attentive to the different needs of all the kids (of all ages and skills). I would definitely recommend Brain Powers!

My family loves Brain Powers. I have seen a 180 positive change in my son. He loves his chess classes. He goes on and on about all the different tactics and strategies he learns. Coach Jason is so knowledgeable and really breaks things down for the kids to understand and then how to apply it to actual games. Coach Steven is so patient with everyone and takes the time to explain what's going, even sends reminders for the classes so our busy lives won't get in the way and have us forgetting. I can't say enough things about these classes. 10/10 would recommend!!!

My son had an incredible time, couldn’t stop talking about class and immediately asked when he could come next. The way the instructors frame the concepts and ideas they are teaching them within the context of chess gives them the feeling they are learning a super power.

Awesome program with coaches who make it so much FUN for my 10 year old. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much my daughter loves the various activities and has taken such an interest in learning all that Brain Powers offers. Highly recommend!

My 9 yr old daughter loves learning chess at Brain Powers. They do a great job teaching strategies while keeping it fun for kids to stay engaged. The coaches are great and the facility is nice. I highly recommend if you have a kid that likes chess or even just likes playing board games, as they also offer weekend game camps!

My son loves Brain Powers! The staff is amazing. They work not just to teach my son chess but teach life skills, you may not win every time but when you do you need to be humble. We are so happy they now have a set location we can attend classes on a regular schedule as well attend weekly tournaments.
