One of my students attended Brain Balance 7 years ago as a 9 year old. I saw his grades jump dramatically. He also had amazing improvements in social skills, motor skills, and general awareness of the world. He is now 16 years old. He is about to get a driver's licence, on the A Honor Roll at school consistently without a classroom aid, and has held a detasseling job for 3 years receiving 2 promotions for excellent work. His future is bright and his parents are so thankful for Brain Balance!

My wife and I cannot express enough gratitude towards the staff members at Brain Balance. It's been an amazing journey and our son has gained so much since he started the program. It's the first time someone had been able to quantify and explain why our son had deficits in certain areas and he has really shown improvements where he had been lacking before.

This is not a healthcare facility, but rather a business driven by sales volume. I was "sold" on the therapy as advertised on their website. I took the time to write a detailed message to them explaining the issues we are having with my son. Instead of replying to the message or setting up a time to meet, as I requested in my message, I instead started receiving generic sales messages on my phone and generic mass mailing adverts in my email saying things like, "Hi, this is Taylar at Brain Balance here in Edwardsville. I just saw that you filled out the questionnaire on our website. I tried calling, but I know texting is easier for most people. What made you decide to visit our website? Were you looking for yourself, or out of concern for a child?" I replied by saying that I had sent the details already, but then got another similar copy/paste reply, "Hi, this is Taylar at Brain Balance here in Edwardsville again. Are you or someone you know struggling with something?" After this negative experience, I dug a little deeper and read about some horrible experiences with this company. Thus, it's probably better they did not take my request seriously.

I'm so happy I found Lori and her team at Brain Balance. They have helped our 8 year old daughter tremendously!! She is in better control of her body awareness and emotions!! Her sensory processes are sooo much better! Which makes for way less tantrums. I'm so glad we found a solution for our daughter!!!

Brain balance helped my son tremendously. While not inexpensive, the value of the changes are definitely worth it. It is a commitment. But has changed our lives and family dynamic for the better. He used to be sent home from school all the time, fight with adults and family, hate going outside and exercising. He is much better in all areas he was lacking in. He had more confindence, more friends, and better grades. Priceless.

first off, if you’re thinking about doing this for your child, do not hesitate. This program is hard, but if you put in the work and you’re determined to finish for your child..... His/her life will forever be changed. My son walked into brain balance in August, and we could not even take him to public places. He had no communication skills, he screamed and yelled because nobody understood him, he wanted nothing to do with his new baby brother. Wednesday he walked out of there a totally different child. he is confident, he loves to talk (even though we can’t always understand him), LOVES his brother! and Enjoys his life every day way more than he did before. thank you so much Pam, Kim, Megan, Andrea. Just a few names that stick out in my mind. I will forever be thankful for you guys!

Brain Balance is a blessing from God to our family. Our son has made many dramatic changes. No longer does he have meltdowns every day. He is able to be sad and have empathy, whereas before he was mostly angry.
