It has been over 15 years since I first met the most amazing team, Chris Ann and Davion Sarver, at the Griset Branch. I was hired to assist in teaching the
Farm to Table summer cooking camps, and these two were absolutely amazing; organized, helpful and dedicated to making the summer and after school programs successful! I later had the opportunity to watch their 2 sons grow up and become wonderful young men, as a substitute teacher for the
SDUHSD and Julian Charter School. It makes me glow to hear that BGCSD is renaming the clubhouse and gym after both
Chris Ann and Davion!! Well deserved, as they make this gem of a community location, a great place for area youth!
