Miranda is by far one of the most fun, talented down to earth instructors I’ve worked with thus far! I was intimidated at first by how talented everyone in the class was. Butt, that didn’t last long! I was very impressed by how patient she was with me when teaching me the group choreography! Definitely helped me feel more comfortable and confident!!
Will definitely be going back, I recommend the studio to anyone who asks!

I recently moved to Lakewood and was looking for a pole studio. After doing pole in another city for 5 years, having a supportive and safe pole community is very important to me. Black Widow is the first studio I’ve checked out in the area and had a great experience. I am excited to try new classes at different levels and their roller pole class! I love that it’s close by and parking is easy. For my first class the instructor Emily was very helpful in adjusting to my level when I was unsure of what I could handle after taking a pole break and adjusting to the altitude. I can’t wait to go back!

Oh my god I love this studio! I’ve been taking the intro classes with Emily and Janei and they’re so amazing. Both are so personable and bring their own unique flair to the class. I’ve been learning the foundations of pole all while feeling sexy and improving my strength. They’re so encouraging and make you feel like you can do anything. Will be back 100x over

What a great studio! I tried lyra at Black Widow for the first time, and I had a blast playing around in the hoop. Andrea is a fantastic instructor, and she helped me feel confident in my ability to hit the poses even though I walked in with zero experience. The vibe of this studio is upbeat and welcoming, and everyone in class was super encouraging. Can't wait to go back!

Currently doing Intro Lyra with Andrea and having an excellent time. The class is a great hybrid of fun, challenge, learning, and exploring your own capabilities. The studio is always is great shape and very clean. I also like that the students and the teachers are close knit and that class size is generally small. Andrea is extremely attentive and supportive of you at all points of your journey and taking Lyra thus far at Black Widow has been a delightful and empowering experience!

This is by far the most authentic, fun, and unique studio I have ever been to! The owner is so sweet, does an amazing job, and has so many fun classes to offer. I leave Black widow with an abundance of confidence and I am always excited to go to my next class! Black Widow has definitely left it's mark and stands out compared to every other pole studio for so many reasons! 10/10 recommend!

This is hands down the best studio in the area! It's always worth the drive from Denver. The instructors are incredibly talented and the owner genuinely cares about everyone and their experience. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, this studio feels like home. Plus $12 for your first class!! You can’t beat that. Highly recommend!!!

I'm so happy to have found Black Widow! I've been to many different pole dance studios in Salt Lake City and Denver, and Black Widow is now my fav. I took a class with the owner, Miranda, tonight and she did an amazing job at giving clear instruction while also creating a super fun and welcoming environment. I laughed so hard I was nearly crying, but I also left knowing I got a great workout in. The studio is clean and gorgeous. The classes are also a reasonable price and there's a wide variety offered. I'm already looking forward to returning! 💖
