I’ve been boarding my senior horse at Black Kettle Ranch for almost 2 years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about Tina and her facility. My horse has had several health scares in his older age and Tina has been front and center for all of them. She has been up with him at 3am, soaked his abscesses, mended his wounds, and introduced us to PEMF which has been a game changer for my old man. I especially love her willingness to practice a holistic approach to equine health so my horse’s mind and body can heal. The property itself is clean, well maintained, and serene. The peace of mind I have knowing Tina is looking after my horse is worth every penny. I truly don’t think he would be as healthy as he is without her knowledge and care. I would highly recommend this boarding facility.

Currently still in the process of taking riding lessons at Black Kettle Ranch, and the experience has been great. I found Black Kettle Ranch and Tina online to prepare for a horseback riding and ranching trip. With that in mind, Tina has tailored lessons using her methodology to ensure I go into this experience safe and able to better understand and communicate with the horse while on the ground or in the saddle. Tina is a very patient instructor who wants the best for her students and horses, with safety being the top priority. These lessons have helped me feel much more confident going into my upcoming trip.

Tina is an amazing instructor and takes a very hands on approach to her training. She takes the time to make sure you are understanding the practices. She allows you to ask questions and keeps things very structured and on task. Her horses are very easy to work with and well trained. She is also very affordable! In order to prepare for an upcoming horseback riding and ranching trip, my daughter and I found Black Kettle Ranch and Tina through an internet search. The thoroughness and safety-first methods Tina uses are exactly what I was looking for to ensure my experience will be pleasant for not only me, but also the horse. Tina has been very helpful in answering all my questions and patient while I continue to learn. I recently started lessons with Tina and I am in absolute awe of the experience. I arrived with very little knowledge and Tina has been patient with my many questions and teaching me how to be safe and build confidence with horses. I appreciate learning the why behind something, and she ensures no detail is left out! I am looking forward to continuing lessons and growing each time. Ive been boarding my 11 year old gelding at Black Kettle ranch for almost 4 months, and I have nothing but good to say about Tina and the boarding facilities. The barn is always well kept, the pasture is perfect for my horse and he was welcomed quickly into the herd. Tina is committed to the herd, always has helpful tips and tricks to share, and she is always respectful and a pleasure to talk with. I plan to remain With this stable for the foreseeable future. My daughter started taking horseback riding lessons with Tina 2 years ago, when she was 6. It’s been a wonderful experience. She taught our daughter not only to ride a horse but, everything about horsemanship. Tina does an amazing job communicating in ways a young mind can understand. We’ve seen our daughter’s confidence in riding and caring for horses grow by leaps and bounds. Not to mention, seeing a shy girl come out of her shell. If you’re looking for a someone to teach you about horsemanship and horseback riding, Tina and Black Kettle Ranch is the place to go.
