My son started attending the Bilingual Learning Center last December. From his first day Mrs. Leidy and her staff have been incredible. His primary language is Spanish, so finding a space that would support his Spanish language while having the patience to help him develop the English language was important. They provide a positive learning environment and take their time to work with each child. They have an incredible curriculum with fun play based lessons and my son has flourished well beyond my expectations. It’s truly a wonderful space for children to learn and grow.

My daughter is 2 and has been attending for 5 months. She looks forward to going every morning. When I pick her up she is so excited to tell me about her day. The program is very structured and each month is catered to a different theme. Mrs Leidy provides a calendar that details what your child will be learning and the activities the children will be participating in each day. My daughter is advancing thanks to the support and encouragement from her teachers Ms. Dennise and Ms. Leonela. We are so happy to be apart of the bilingual learning center family.

The best daycare in the AV! Our son joined 5 months ago and we have seen the growth since starting preschool. The teachers are Amazing!! You can tell they really work hard with the kids. The activities they have for the kids are so well thought out and implemented. They are very caring and responsive to the parents! It was scary leaving our little one but they made it easier by sharing pictures of him the first weeks while we got adjusted. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and educational preschool!

Amazing Program and People!
My daughter has been attending BLC for almost 3 years.
Mrs. Leidy, Mrs. Leonela and Mrs. Dennise have been amazing in making my daughter feel comfortable, able to express her feelings, and exposing her mind to different subjects and activities. She is learning so much. I am so grateful!
Highlights:
- Clean and Safe locations.
- Meals prepared daily and on site. Breakfast, lunch and snacks.
- Our Childrens, Health and Safety is a priority.
- Bilingual Program (English/Spanish)
- Activities :  Every month is a new learning theme/activity.  Kids get to explore and directly learn about a specific topic.   Mrs. Leidy, creates a special area where the kids are able to participate in activities like , musicals, show & tell, storytelling, plays, and, dancing.
Teachers: Mrs. Leonela and Mrs. Dennis are very patient and caring.  The kids feel at home.  Mrs. Leidy, program director and advocate.  She is involved in the community and often speaks on behalf of childcare providers to maintain programs running.
I am so happy I decided to enroll my daughter at Bilingual Learning Center, best place for my daughter it will be bittersweet when it is time to move on to elementary school.

BLC is an amazing daycare. My son has been a part of this family for over 4years. Mrs. Leidy and her staff are awesome with the kids. They engage them in several activities both academically and fun to help enhance and expand our kids learning abilities and social skill. The staff is friendly, kind and very welcoming. Bringing my son to BLC was an asset as he transitioned to Los Amigos Elementary School because he learned Spanish early on while attending BLC. I HIGHLY recommend BLC to families that want a safe, secure, friendly atmosphere to care for their children as if they were their own. Thank you Mrs. Leidy & BLC family♥️

My 2 daughters have been attending the Bilingual Learning center for the past 3 years, and it has been the best daycare my kids have ever attended. My 5 year old is now in kindergarten and I am amazed at how much this daycare prepared her for the transition and how much she seems to already know from her time at this daycare. Not only is the educational program excellent but the teachers and staff are so loving and caring. I originally came to the bilingual learning center for my daughter who was in preschool. She was always engaged and everyday was something she looked forward too. Water Wednesday in the summer and Messy days. Everyday was exciting for her. I loved how she spoke about her days playing with her friends and making crafts.

We unfortunately had a death in the family that greatly impacted us. Shortly after Ladi and Rudy were helping with pick ups and drop offs for my son. I really wouldn’t know what to do without them had we not been with them. The services they offer really helped me and my children grow into a community we loved being around.

We moved out of the area but miss the bilingual learning center every day. We have yet to find a place that compares to the services and care that was given to my children. We will forever love the bilingual learning center and the community created there.

I’m writing this review to warn other parents from Ms. Leidy and this facility. I would suggest you look somewhere else. I’ve been given wrong information and so many confusing and misunderstandings with in the first week of being with them. First I called to ask for the rates, she tells me one price and we showed up for the tour she tells me another. She actually wrote down a rate with initials on it and she didn’t go thru with it. Our drop off time was at 7am and when we took her the first day she mentioned that it was too early. She suggested to leave our baby half day (7am- 12pm) for the first day, which we agreed and the next day she texted me to pick up my child at 12pm again. When I called to confirm she said she told me that the first two weeks were going to be half days. Which she clearly didn’t because I had taken the day off the first day to drop her off and pick her up early. So basically that meant I had to pay full time price at the daycare, while she only watched her half day and still pay someone else to watch my baby the rest of the day. She then said that there will be an “evaluation” at the end of the week to see if her program was right for our child. Like what does that mean? That’s basically saying “let me see if your child is good for my daycare.” She basically put my child through a rough time trying to get adjusted to a new environment and at the end she tells me that she wont be attending her daycare. I would strongly suggest you look somewhere else.
