My Wife and I were searching for care for our 5-month-old daughter. We found big steps and had a site tour scheduled. The owner stated she had room for one more infant. We made it out for the visit, the owner was very nice in person and the site was what we were looking for, so we decided we wanted to move forward with her as we needed care asap. We sent her the dates and times that we need as requested and also my email. She replied with a long welcome paragraph and wrote that there would be more info to follow via email.

She stated she would be sending documents for us to review and also to fill the following Monday. We followed up and she replied that she would be sending them the following day. we waited for the next day but nothing, so we followed up again with our intent to get all required docs filled out and to send payment as soon as possible. she replied stating she would be sending something shortly. the entire day went by and nothing. We attempted to follow up a couple more times and it was no reply after that.

This delayed our search for childcare as we needed it within a week of our first meeting. We would have appreciated the common courtesy to just get denial via text or even a call. We would have been able to keep our search going. We found it very unprofessional and also bizarre as she appeared very nice in person.

I honestly don't know if we triggered her in some way, we were polite through all interactions and wanted to get her everything required to enroll our daughter. If she would have just told us no or that she did not want our business, we would have been fine and moved on. we would have appreciated not wasting our time or hers. I would give zero stars if I could.

Big Steps was a great choice for me and my family, the flexible hours and even sometimes Weekend Care is AWESOME! My child loves his time there. The kids learn so much. The Instructor / Owner Miss Meesha is great with my son and all the kids. He never wants to leave when I come to pick him up. Best Day Care and Weekend Care in my area!

Best Daycare in the Bay Area! The Provider is very professional and cares about the safety, milestones and learning stages of your child. Also the good manners my child picked up in this environment was just an amazing addition to what she has already learned from Big Steps. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have a niece that attends Big Steps. Miss Meme is great with the children! The new location is better than the first! Also, The schedule and program works perfectly for her parents. If you are looking for a comfortable home child care center where your child would get personal attention, monitored development, nutritional meals, emails/messages on your child’s progress (if need be) this is the provider you’re looking for. Also, Miss Meme is very communicative and supportive of parents/guardians and their plans for their children. BONUS!!

My niece attended this daycare until she was prepared for kindergarten. Her teacher now gives her excellent reports on how she’s more advanced and does so well with the other children and how she’s well mannered. This daycare has such a loving and caring environment. I recommend this this daycare to Any parent
