NBMA provides a unique learning opportunity. The staff is supportive, forward-thinking and open to stepping outside the box in terms of their definition of high school. This isn't a "one size, fits all" school. It is tailored to meet the needs of each individual student while providing the required framework for graduation. Students are encouraged to pursue their interests by gaining experience and knowledge at their preferred place of employment. The administrative staff, office personnel and teachers truly have the students' best interest at heart.

North Bay Met is an awesome high school in the Windsor School District! My child was looking for something different and he's been so excited to come to school here. He had his LTI, which is an internship, and he LOVES it. It's really cool seeing him interested in school. I would highly recommend this small school.

North Bay Met Academy/ Windsor Oaks Academy (my child attended both) has a spectacular approach to education. To be honest, when I first read that they had a core value of "one student at a time", I was very skeptical after having incredibly negative experiences with other schools who wanted to be able to help but just were not able to. As a parent of a child with an IEP, I cried tears of relief when we first made the decision to come to this school and were told "There is no need to apologize for your child's needs. That is what we are here for. We are HAPPY to help her!" NBMA truly looked at MY child, her needs, her special circumstances, and what SHE needed to be successful and made it happen. The team worked so well and so thoughtfully together to craft an educational experience that a parent really could only dream of (and no, I am not being paid to write this- ha!). From day one, the care, attention, service, dedication, and commitment to my child was clear and present and I could not be more grateful!
