This was EXACTLY what I needed for a coding bootcamp/course.

Before Beach Coders, I had tried all kinds of online coding courses, but would quit shortly after starting those courses because I would get stuck on a problem and wouldn't have access to anyone to bounce ideas off of and receive immediate feedback from. This is what you get at Beach Coders, you get skilled, knowledgeable, and patient instructors (in my case, Griffin Scott) who walk with you every step of the learning process and meet you EXACTLY where you are in your learning journey.

They have categorized their courses into 5-6 different modules that they call "Code-waves," which means instead of taking one 6-9 month bootcamp course on Full-stack development, you can choose from these modules and customize them to your learning goals and needs.

That's also why the name Code-wave is so fitting, because instead of taking one HUGE Wave of a bootcamp in 9 months and risk not completing the program, you get to "ride" these shorter waves so you can pick up the course-load that you're able to handle both in terms of skill, and affordability. I took their Front-end development module and plan to take at least two more.

For a CAREER SWITCHER like myself who doesn't have time to go back to school to get a traditional CS degree, these modules are fantastic for catching up to speed with the field so I can pick up from here and learn on my own much easier.

Believe me, if you're stuck anywhere in your learning-to-code journey, taking at least one of these modules so their instructors can help you get a jump-start is probably the best decision you can make. We live in an age where anyone can learn anything with the right resources, let Beach Coders be one of those resources for you.

I really enjoyed my experience with Beachcoders Academy. The timing, pacing, and scope of the course was exactly what I was looking for as someone with 0 prior UX experience. What makes Beachcoders unique is that they provide a 1:1 structured setting, which I find I learn best in. Beach Coders was the perfect experience I was looking for. Before I completed the CodeWave front end web development course I was feeling lost and frustrated at how difficult a time I was having learning (I started the course with a couple of months of coding experience) and was looking for options like bootcamps or online courses to help me move forward. The reason Beach Coders is so good for people who aren't very experienced is its dedication to one-on-one learning. You meet with your instructor 3 times a week for 2.5 hours (or longer! the instructor I had would literally go out of his way to make sure I had really understood what we were learning). The way you learn can be incredibly flexible and the course is really catered to each individual students. I could go on and on because I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. If you're looking to advance your coding, I very much recommend checking Beach Coders out.

I'm so relieved to have BeachCoders in my Web-Development toolkit. Online courses, books or YouTube tutorials can't match the level of instructuve detail needed for this vast and ever changing field. Their in-person class structure increases the speed in which my skill level improves and gives me the confidence that my code is written properly. I enrolled in BeachCoders Academy after having attempted another bootcamp. I had to drop out of the other bootcamp, but I'm SOOO GLAD I found BeachCoders. Learning how to code with instructors is sooo much better than going it mostly alone. Their format is so much better! If an emergency comes up with an instructor, they are really good about finding a substitute really quickly.

I completed the first CodeWave course and I will be starting UX Design and the Advanced Codewave Course soon.

While I haven't received much job support yet, they just added an ISA agreement option that will include more job support from their partner. So my 5 rating represents my enthusiasm and level of hope as I continue their courses with their new ISA.
