Took my FAA part 107 drone exam here today. Great experience all the way through, called and got a lot of great information from Bill regarding the test. Test day was a great experience, he walked me through everything and was there for any questions I may have regarding the test process. Would not hesitate to recommend Bill and API to anyone else.

Very nice place to take the FAA knowledge test. Bill was very nice and patient, he treated test taker as if he or she were his own student. He will try every possible way to help the test taker. There was a guy who forgot to bring a calculator (there will be simple calculator provided physically, as well as a simple one on test screen, but the guy was saying he was taking general mechanic test and needed a more sophisticated one ), Bill actually dug out all of the calculator he had in the place for him to pick, although that's not his resposiblity.

Some of the highlights:
1. Please call Bill at least two days ahead of time for a schedule. Bill try to provide test 7 days a week, but he is the only one running the business, occasionally he might have personal things to do; and there is only 3 stations, schedule might be tight.
2. If you need be in a really quiet place to take a test, ask Bill for ear plugs. This place is also a flight school, will be student in and out of the school, talking and etc. So ask for ear plugs or find another place.
3. Restroom is available.
4. Water is available.
5. If you love planes, take a good camera if the wind is favoring Rwy 4R, you will be able to see a lot of landing traffic on short final right over your head. So cool.

Yesterday, I passed my FAA UAS Part 107 exam as required by the FAA to pilot drones. Bill was a big help to me before, during and after the exam. I could not have asked for a better experience. He helped me with suggesting things to use as study guides, helped me with directions to the facility, helped with the process of taking the exam and understanding how the computer software functioned and helped me with the post process of dealing with the FAA website. Do call ahead and schedule in a time to take your exam, there are three testing bays, so it would not be a good idea to just show up at the door. The business was open when he said he was going to be there. He genuinely cares that people have a positive experience and does not want to see you waste your money if you are not prepared for the exam. Two thumbs up from me, Thanks Bill !

I rarely wrote reviews but I need to emphasize here how great Bill was! He explained in detail on every step I need to know about of the entire examination process. He will clam you down and getting you away from nervous before exam and make you laugh afterwards. Great experience there!

I wish all testing centers made you feel as welcomed and comfortable as this one. I’ve taken many tests over the years and I’ve always felt like a prisoner at some testing centers, but Bill was such a nice guy who walked me through the process and explained everything I had questions about. Sure the place isn’t the nicest, but who cares you’re there to take a test. Highly recommend it.

I took my FAA Part 107 (commercial drone/sUAS) exam here.

After running into some issues trying to schedule at another testing facility for a few weeks, I went through the list and found API.

Scheduling was a breeze and Bill was very flexible in regards to dates and times. He called to confirm morning of. When I arrived, he got me set up, and I was ready to go. He provided a calculator, pencils, water, and everything else needed for the test. He was very thorough in explaining how the testing system works, was present to handle any issues during the test, and provided follow-up for completing the rest of the certification.

No complaints. If you're in the area and need to take your Part 107 test, this is the place to go.

Went to take my Unmanned Aircraft General test here and it was quick and easy. Bill was nice and took care of everything. Covid rules were followed very well and I felt safe while I took the test. The actual space and equipment is a little dated and is in need of a little upgrade though.

I was here to take my FIA written exam. Bill is very patient and helpful. After the exam, he volunteered his time and gave me a very valuable lesson of how to become a good pilot and instructor. Highly recommended!
