My daughter and I came on a rainy day, looking for a way to spend time. The staff was great and was able to get us in at the same time a bit later in the day. We both had excellent experiences! We didn’t realize they were offering half price facials so we were able to both get an hour facial for $20 each! Turned into a marvelous day and we’ve already made plans to go back! Will absolutely repeat!

I Love Aveda Arts &Sciences Institute Birmingham. I had a Great Experience at my appointment. Friendly Staff, Very Clean Environment, and Beautiful Facility.I look forward to visiting again one day when I get back on my feet after dealing with sickness for over a year.

Used to be a cosmetology student at Aveda and learned so much! I still get regular facials and love them!!! Highly recommend Shante for a facial! Front desk is always nice and welcoming!! Always a good experience! Also, I never break out after service like I have at other spas!! They use all natural products!! 🙂

Beeb’s is the best! Very friendly staff, clean, uplifting atmosphere. I had my hair shampooed, hair cut and beard trimmed for $22. Well worth it, and my hair looks great!

We always have a great time when we have an event at this location. All the staff and the students are always nice-they always speak to you when passing in the hall and smile. The theater is a great venue for business meetings or parties and get-togethers. We’ve been here several times for our business and have used two different rooms that they have available- the big theater and a smaller classroom upstairs. Our mentor in real estate schedules meetings at places where she will be able to provide the best experience for the most people at the most reasonable cost. This was another example of that today.

This was my first visit to Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute. It was really nice. Everyone was friendly. I was very impressed and pleased with my hairstylist Kaliah. She was excellent. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back again. Awesome job Kaliah!

Worst haircut ever. As a natural blonde with fine hair you better know what you're doing when you cut that type of hair. I explained exactly how I would like my hair to be cut. Nothing difficult. Layers. The student was told how to cut it and she did her best. However the tatted up black haired instructor came over in the middle of the haircut and interrupted her. She turned me sideways so I could not see what she was doing. I asked her to turn me back around so I could see what she was doing.. but she said she needed to keep me turn to the side because she was right or left handed. That has nothing to do with turning me so I cannot see what she was doing in the mirror. When she thought she was through and I told her she still needed to sliver the front section of it she just went in and cut a big gaping cut into the side of my hair. It did not even match the other side. The student did her best to style it. But it was no way like I wanted it cut. I will never go back there. It has been several months and my hair is still trying to grow back out. Natural blonde hair does not grow extremely fast. My former hairdresser came out of retirement and actually attempted to straighten out my haircut which was long on one side, short on the other and gapped up. She could not believe the cut I got and how she ruined it

Don't waste your time responding to my review with some generic apology. Just know I will tell everyone.. don't go there.
