I took Dr. Amar's LSAT course in July 2024. By taking his course, I was able to increase my score from a 141 practice test to a 162 official score. The course starts with a basic introduction of the test with approaches to each question type. The remainder of the course includes reviewing a different practice test each class that students take beforehand. Dr. Amar takes the time to go over each person's questions and makes things easy to understand. There were students traveling from across Texas each week to take his course because it really is worth it! I would highly recommend Dr. Amar to anyone in Texas looking for a great in-person course.

Dr. Amar was an excellent tutor and his class was extremely helpful to me while studying for the LSAT. The personalized teaching style is awesome to help students think through their mistakes and understand what specifically makes the right answers correct. The class is taught to help students understand how to approach each type of question, which made me feel like the LSAT was learnable since the questions have recognizable patterns. I improved 10+ points in only a short amount of time, making the class great for students and those in the workforce or with busy schedules. I could not have achieved my target test score if it hadn't been for Dr. Amar. I did two hours of prep with him in-person, and he tailored it to my needs 100%, as I have a medical diagnosis that impacts my ability to focus and test. I was afraid he would get exasperated with me about it, but on the contrary, he seemed accustomed to working with people with a variety of abilities and needs, and he was even able to see my strengths and intelligence. This Prep class was just what I needed to figure out what I was missing with the LSAT. I really appreciate that Dr. Amar took his time to go over all possible question difficulties we might encounter. He basically made the test feel like a board game. So doing the prep tests at home did not feel like a burden, but more like a game I couldn’t wait to play. I took the September LSAT and did not see any question I could not resolve. I did struggle with time however (btw get your accommodations soon enough if you have health issues) I missed so many questions on the test you, in every section 🙄 but I still got my 150! I am taking it again and it will be at least a 160 (with the proper Accomodations) Tip: try to not miss any class when you enroll!

Dr. Amar is an excellent LSAT tutor. I did very poorly my first time I took my LSAT score and then scored 23 points higher the next time I took the LSAT because of Dr. Amar's personalized teachings, insightful strategies and well-tested concepts.
