AELC is a fantastic place. Our family has been involved with the center for over seven years (both my children “graduated” from it). Both my children were lovingly cared for, encouraged, and supported in their development during their time there. They had great educators and were secure and well cared for.

The current director taught both of my children as a teacher and led the center for my younger child’s last year. I think she is fantastic--I have total confidence in her as a director and educator. She has a great sense of appropriate child development; a solid commitment to leadership and staff development; and is kind, compassionate, and competent.

Kudos to the teachers and administrative staff at Augustana Early Learning Center. I am a grandparent of a granddaughter who attended the school for three years and a grandson who is in his third year of preschool there. We are involved in dropping off and picking up the kids and have a lot of contact with the teachers and staff. We have been so impressed with the quality of the teachers and the welcoming and competent administrative staff. Our grandchildren do not want to leave when we come to pick them up. They have made good friends at the Center and the teachers are very warm and loving to the children. The children know how to follow directions and the rules in the classroom. We have watched them mature and learn how to be kind, generous and capable children. The Center is a clean and safe place and our grandchildren are so happy there which makes us very happy.

We have had our kids at AELC for 3+ years, and highly recommend it! It’s more affordable than other centers in the area, and we have LOVED the teachers and staff. They truly care about our children. Our kids have flourished there.

My 5 year old especially loves the food, including Ms. Tamara’s homemade items. 🙂

The school year (and summer camp) curriculum has helped my kids advance amongst other kids their ages, but most importantly, their emphasis on emotional intelligence and teaching our kids to be compassionate individuals is what matters most. We’ve made lifelong friendships.

If I could give this special place 10 stars I would! We have been lucky enough to be part of AELC since 2019, and I am so glad we still have a few more years with them! We have had two kids graduate from AELC's toddler/preschool program and couldn't be happier with their success, and everything the center has to offer. The current director started out as a teacher for my daughter and has done an amazing job building up the preschool and leading it in the right direction. All of my kids' teachers have been wonderful. AELC has a great balance of new and veteran teachers who are all dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment. I am always impressed with how engaged all of the staff are and their open line of communication. Our kids love going to school everyday and the teachers and staff do a great job planning days with tons of hands-on activities and play-based learning. They even send pictures and videos throughout the day on the Procare app, which I have loved. We have felt so lucky to be part of the AELC community and are excited to go through all the classrooms one last time with our last kiddo starting in the fall. We will be forever grateful for all the fun memories, love, and care they have provided for our family.

AELC is and continues to be a lovely place for early childhood care. We have been so happy with our experience.

Our oldest daughter started attending Augustana when she was 3 and was there all the way until she started kindergarten. She still goes back on out of school days and for summer camp. We love the caring staff, the programming, and the environment.

When our youngest was old enough to attend, got her started there as well! We love that we get daily updates and photos about what she's learning and doing.

Both of my kids attend Augustana Early Learning Center, and they love the teachers and friends there. There's a combination of tenured teachers who have been there for years, and newer faces who just joined this year. All of the teachers are kind and loving to the kids and genuinely want to enrich their development and social skills. The kids do all kinds of fun art projects and sports. Augustana makes it easy for families, providing meals and snacks, great hours, and a very fun summer program. We are happy with our decision to be a part of this center!

We love AELC! We have two kids (2 1/2 and 4) who have been attending for a couple years. The staff is super engaged, caring, and consistent. The admins are very organized and have great communication. They ensure the safety of the children is priority, while managing to create a warm and encouraging environment built for inclusivity and learning!

We have loved Augustana for three years now! Have had all three of our kids attend and now our school aged kids attend the summer camp which they love! So nice to have the option for after-school care which is bussed directly from our school. ALL the staff are sweet, caring and communicative. We trust them fully and our kids love to go to care there everyday.
