A wonderful and welcoming place! The tutors are patient, caring, and challenge the kids to be great. My daughter loves the fun and interactive math and reading comprehension tutoring sessions they offer.
The music program is wonderful. My daughter does group piano class and individual piano lessons. Her teacher is fantastic. Firm but fair and it brings out the best in her. She has learned so much.
The library is full of history and knowledge. My uncle from Australia visited the US for the first time in July and we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the library at the foundation. We love this place and appreciate everything it does to bring our community together. Thank you AUAF!!

I was visiting Chicago from out of town and wanted to see the library at the foundation and maybe perhaps purchase some books. However, I was turned away and told that I needed to schedule an appointment. Who in the world schedules appointments to visit a library or to buy books from a book store I was so disappointed !! This is definitely NOT the way an Assyrian organization should be promoting their culture and historical identity.

Wow! What a beautiful place filled with awesome people? I was fortunate enough to be a part of President Tiglat's 60th birthday celebration. Being mixed, I thought I would stand out and maybe I did, but members made me feel so comfortable and welcome. You don't have to be Assyrian or even Middle Eastern to feel like a part of the 'family'.

The people were great! The building is beautiful. They are wonderful programs offered. I wish this organization many more successful years.

My daughter has been in the music and art program at AUAF  for close to two years now. I am so happy that she is part of such a wonderful program.

It is important to know that the program is made all the more successful through the people involved. Her piano teacher, Safaa, is a kind and outstanding teacher and musician. He is motivating and passionate about his work. She has excelled so much, all thanks to him. Ms. Hemmel, her art teacher, gives the necessary encouragement and it is made clear by the skills that her students have learned. The music program coordinator, Sabria, is one of the kindest person I’ve met. She is passionate about her work and the children love her.

If you’ve never been inside of the AUAF building, you should stop by and see how beautiful it is. I have yet to see a building in the Assyrian community with such beautiful artwork and displays showing the history of the Assyrian nation. I was in awe, and still am, every time I step in.

The art and music directors should be very proud of this accomplishment. They have created a center for children  to  come together and fall in love  with music and art and learn from the best teachers.

I am so proud to have my daughter be part of an exceptional Assyrian program and look forward to her advancing in the programs she’s been given the opportunity to be a part of.

Was working there for almost 20 long years, 2 months short of 20 years they fired me cause I'm a X-Felon... Believe that, took them 20 years to find out that I was locked up before, 😞

AUA Foundation Music school has played an important role in our Assyrian youth community. They have provided a unique opportunity for our children to learn music by professional musicians, composers, and music teachers who are passionate about investing time and effort in each student. The music school as a whole is professional, top notch organization providing an array of musical as well as art courses in a relaxed and energized atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and personable. Sabria Kosho is an outstanding music coordinator who juggles multiple responsibilities all the while maintaining a professional, positive and an enthusiastic attitude! Mr Tiglad and Mr. Rasson have invested a great deal of their time and effort turning this school truly into a success story for each serious music student. I’m thankful to our Lord God for blessing our community with this wonderful gift.
