I am a student here currently but I do not like the experience here. The teachers are nice but the students are disrespectful. The school does not have enough activities compared to other schools. There's less sports in this school which are volleyball, soccer, basketball. The school gets out too late later than other schools. The school has to share a field with another school which can be irritating to students. Lunch here is very bad the food doesn't taste great. Finally I'm gonna point out that the last 3 years I was here, it wasn't a great experience because a lot of people disliked me...

Class of 2022 graduate here! This is a honest review and reflection of Aspire Cal Prep. Judging past ratings and comments, 25% percent of them are true.

About nutrition, cafeteria food is alright. I’ve seen my classmates (seniors) order fast food and then eat on campus. It’s concerning as this can be promoted. Since the school will be having a new principal, having food trials is necessary.

Something you will also notice here is teachers share classrooms, having their own carts with their teaching necessities. Since it’s a small school, this is the case.

Bullying: When I was here, the majority of kids curse. There’s staff members spread out on campus to ensure a youngster’s safety. If one shows physical violence, they would be escorted to the Wellness Center, a place where kids serve their time reflecting on what they did and learning from it.

School across from Aspire Cal Prep: Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of having them on the field everyday. However, they have their own schedules. Therefore, there’s not much action we can take to adjust this.

Uniforms: Starting from Grade 6 to 10th Grade, students are required to wear a Navy Blue Polo shirt with Khaki pants. It makes sense for them to build discipline and show modesty, but they are very expensive nowadays. Then there’s Grade 11 and 12, students have the option of free dress or uniform. Don’t know why this is a thing, but it is.

We must realize that kids just attend to finish their studies and go. Every year is different and we must have that perspective. Since we have COVID going on, I had to come here with a mask for 9 hours, which was crazy (I GOT USED TO IT). Looking back, high school teachers are super amazing. I will never ever forget these people, they take their job seriously and they want that their students implement their teachings to their daily lives. If you struggle with subjects such as Math, Science, English, Spanish, and more. Teachers make sure that your child understands the material, no joke. Encourage your child to attend office hours and they’ll have high grades. With this, they’ll provide many resources to help students prepare for college, especially putting them in college- paced classes. I created wonderful memories here and I wish to stay connected to the beautiful educators here! You’ll never find individuals like them anywhere! I highly recommend enrolling your student here, you won’t regret it. Awesome school!?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recommend your students not to go here. The students here are not that good.I don't recommend this school. My child wanted to do band but there wasn't any. He was in tears. So instead my child went to Pinole Valley High School. My child said Pinole Valley's band is the best.

So I am a witness here at this school and according to my friends, the school is very terrible especially the students, students here have been bullying my friend just because he is shy and not a talkative person, and from my perspective I think that that’s not right, just because a person is shy and not a talkative person that doesn’t mean you get to bully them, they have to learn how to respect others no matter what that person looks, their ethnicity, or their personality! Also students can’t really get a real high school experience because the schedules is out of hands it’s really confusing and it’s breaking the law. This school doesn’t even have a band and not all of the sports like other schools!! So I recommend not attending to this school if you really care about your future! Thank you!!

My child attends here and we love it! They truly care about the kids and want to see them succeed. The amount of homework is fair. I do wish they had more clubs for the kids to belong to though!

I have been with this school for longer than most and by my experience with Aspire Cal Prep have not been the best to be honest I am only still at this school for certain people but most staff are rude and a certain admin ruined a special event for the grade in which I am in tbh I don't like her or the rest of the school therefore I would give this school a 0 but since I cannot I give it a 1.
