My son is a product if ASA Christian Academy & I couldn’t be more proud of his academic abilities. The main thing about ASA is that they take pride in the education, safety & development of the children. My son went to Jennings for a semester & the teachers were consistently inquiring about his educational foundation. With zero hesitation he told them ASA Christian Academy. The children are taught integrity, respect for themselves & others & most importantly a Christian foundation, all of which they can take into the world as they enter into adulthood. We were part of the ASA Community for 5 years (2014-1019). Our three sons flourished and grew tremendously academically, socially and spiritually! Our eldest son attended ASA for two years in the 5th and 6th grades and the academic and life lessons he learned prepared him for the next step in his educational journey as he is now at Westminster Christian Academy. As a student at ASA he learned to be confident as a speaker and leader and specifically he learned the importance of showing ALL of his work in Math 🙂
Our two younger sons were part of the Pre-school through 5th grade programs, combined, and their academic, social and spiritual growth is amazing! They learned that they have strength beyond measure and that they can do ALL things through Jesus Christ who strengthens them. Biblical, Cultural and world lessons, science fairs, Cotillions, math drills, reading contests and gardening are only a fraction of the things they were exposed to! The family atmosphere made them feel safe even when they were challenged to go farther than their own limitations!
As parents we poured our time, talents and hearts into ASA because we wanted our children to see us partner with the school that was giving them so much. We knew all of the teachers and staff and they all knew us. We served, raised funds, donated and gave as much and as often as we were able because we believed in everything that ASA stood and stands for!
Though our family is no longer part of the ASA community we will FOREVER be part of the ASA family! No words will ever accurately express the appreciation I have for ALL our children received at ASA but I hope this brief testimony helps someone understand the depth of what their children will receive in being part of the ASA community. Dr. Strickland continue to follow God as He leads you in this journey of excellence! The May family will ALWAYS hold ASA and EACH educator that blessed and poured into our sons in our hearts, FOREVER!
Everyday was not perfect as we are imperfect people. We faced a couple of challenges but the good of ASA outweighed any bad and we are GRATEFUL!
