I have had 2 sons go through them and get their licenses. All the lessons seem to have gone well and the boys learned what they needed to.

I did have an issue with waiting for lessons with my second son's lessons. I was told the classes had expired. But Coastline made it right in the end and my son completed his lessons and test. All the same, be cognizant of expiration dates if you are going to do something like make your son get their eagle before getting their license.

Edited to add....Coastline reached out and rectified the situation. They actually offered more than what I asked and paid for. Thank you, Coastline!

Absolutely horrible business!!!! I paid $600 in May of 2022 to arvada driving school for my sons lessons. I paid for classes at 14 1/2 as well as 6 hours of behind the wheel training and his driving test.
I have since learned that a rescheduled appointment came at a cost of $159 additional!!! Never have I been told that i would be charged for a rescheduled appointment. And I've spoken to several representatives as well as 2 instructors since then. The people at coastline have refused to send me documents stating that i agreed to this absurd reschedule fee.
This business is very unprofessional and deceptive!!! I do not recommend putting your money into this business, especially since the whole process is a very long one.

I almost t-boned a student driver this morning because they were instructed to illegally turn in front of me. I entered the parking lot where the school is and had the right of way. An instructor had a student turn in front of me (coming from my right and turning left in front of me). I threw my hands in the air and the instructor did the same back to me! He was in the wrong and is teaching people incorrectly!

A good deal for the money, but--more than that--the instructors were all kind, encouraging, and helpful! We had four daughters go through their program and highly recommend it!

So disorganized. They watch videos and take 10 breaks throughout the 8 hours. They tell you they will mail you stuff but never do. The kids had 1 class and at the beginning of 2nd class they made them take the permit test. Set up for failure

I'm sorry to say that I regret having my son go to this school, and especially that we went with the in-person option. The 8-hour sessions are a series of quiet time to read, watching videos and doing worksheets or quizzes. There was lot of "down time" and, from what I can tell, very little interaction between the instructor and the students.

We did not do the "behind the wheel" (BTW) part, so I cannot speak to that.

If I could go back and do it again I would probably look elsewhere, or choose the online version (which would require half as many hours of my son's time).

Arvada Driving is simply the best driving school in the state. They show true passion for making sure their student drivers are well educated about the law and best driving techniques. I've looked around at many of the other schools and even attended Drive Safe, all they cared about was getting my money. When I took the test at Arvada, the instructor told me they wouldn't take my money if I failed! Awesome right there! The instructor was so amazing and encouraging during my test. Thanks again Arvada Drive!

I had the pleasure of following a student and teacher from the school all the way up lookout mountain road. It was extremely questionable that the teacher had a student driver who could barely handle a car driving up a mountain road in a thick heavy fog with very low visibility.

Poor choices aside, the teacher clearly was giving the student little or no direction on how to actually drive. The student was breaking in nearly every turn and swerving all over the road. A little bit of minor instruction could easily correct that behavior and help that person be a good driver, but instead the teacher would rather just sit there and get nauseous while allowing this person to go out and endanger themselves and other people.
