A fantastic technical library with a wide variety of resources on the geosciences. The library staff are extremely helpful. One highlight is the maps collection, containing a huge number of maps of various kinds available for browsing and checkout. Also have a look through the extensive government publications section and technical journals going back to the 19th century.

Arthur Lakes Library is everything you could hope for from a library. Delicious, underpriced coffee, knowledgeable and friendly staff, low noise level with study rooms available, a plethora of books, etc.

This is one of my favorite places on the Colorado School of Mines Campus. There's always plenty of places to study, and you can easily reserve a room if you need to make some noise.

I have spent a lot of time here recently, and there is a distinct lack of lakes. I do not know who this Arthur fellow is, but their library is participating in false advertising.
