I DO NOT recommend trying to rent from Area Best. We have tried for over 3 weeks, looked at 4 different homes and be told we could absolutely get into something before the end of August just to continually be lied to and have other family chosen. They show zero sympathy when you express your urgency and show up with money in hand. I will not recommend others to rent here either. If you qualify and pass all the checks you should be able to get into a home and not get thus run around joke for almost an entire month. Rather ridiculous.

I do not rent from here. I live next to 3 apartment building. The advertisement for these specific apartments, states NO PETS! So I find it very frustrating when the apartments next door, let their dogs out and they poop in my yard. I've called the office to express my frustration. Absolutely nothing has been done. I have a dog. In the lease to the house it rent. Says I can have my dog, if I keep the yard cleaned up of poop. So it really annoying that I am cleaning up after other dogs.
My landlord had a fence put up to help with this problem. Everyone still lets there dogs shit along my fence. So I'm still cleaning up after then.

We have rented here over 2 years and have never had any issues with management. Maintenance requests are filled out promptly and efficiently. We pay rent on time each month and take care of the property as if it were our own.

Really wish I would’ve read more reviews before renting from them. They had repairs they claimed they would do before we moved in, after living there 2 years nearly we ended our lease and they had never fixed it. Foundation was cracking in the bedrooms. Never cared about the people they allowed to move in, kissed our deposit goodbye practically due to “cleaning a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 hours” after I was on my hands and knees scrubbing from top to bottom pregnant. Claimed they didn’t receive my keys till 2 days later when I turned them into the drop box the end of the month so not sure how my keys grew legs and magically walked back to them after. Paid rent but then received a service notice fee that was eventually taken off because they agreed in error but once it was deposit accounting, that charge as well as another $40 randomly came through and then was treated super rude when I went and asked about it and even provided them photo evidence and then was threatened to be charged more because there were more “repairs” they couldn’t explain. Please save your family the financial heartache. I wish we would’ve as a young family of 4.

We have been renting from Area Best Management for a little over 2 years. We have never had any problems with them. They have gone above and beyond for us at times. The owner of the house is amazing as well. I highly recommend using them.

Worst rental experience ever! Avoid this company at all costs. Erroneous charges taken out of deposit after moving out. A cheap company representing even cheaper property owners. Rent from them at your own risk
