We have been wanting to try Fly Fishing for a while. We gave it a go and decided to use Anderson's Fish Camp. Wow- I am so glad we did. Katie met us right on time at our hotel and we followed her to the river we were going to fish in. She provided everything needed as well as great instructions on how to fish and where. It was me , my wife and 18 yr old son. We had never experienced fly fishing before. Katie is the most patient person I have met as she expertly guided us to the right spot and we started getting hits. Listen to her instructions and you will catch fish. These guys are great a husband and wife team who are really into sharing their passion of the sport and rivers with others. We will be back Katie. Thank you again for a great time.

My husband and I fished with Cooper at the beginning of June. We had the best time and were able to catch quite a few fish with Cooper’s expert guidance. He was patient, friendly and very attentive. My wife and I went out with Katie on Labor Day weekend on a fairly last minute reservation. She absolutely made our weekend. Took us to some
beautiful spots and had a great straight forward teaching style to a few beginners (still learning & a brand new). Had a great easy going and fun personality and put us on plenty of fish quickly. We will be back and recommend to anyone looking to learn and have fun in the Vail area!!

If you are going to fish anywhere in the Vail Valley / Beaver Creek area you can not go wrong with Anderson Outfitters. I have been fishing with guide Katie for 10 years now and have never had anything other than stellar trips. From fishing with my kids when they were youngsters to larger multi-guide groups Anderson can cover it all. Katie knows that I enjoy dry fly fishing and always scouts pools for rising fish before we head out for the day. When with young kids they find areas with easy casting lines and large high rocks to stand on. I recently fished with Katie in March, the banks covered in snow & of course more than just a chill in the air and we had a spectacular half day. Both Katie & Cooper are very hard workers and are always pushing to catch their clients great fish even when conditions are challenging.
