I did a lot of research before choosing to study here, I wanted to learn this beautiful science from a true Vaidya, someone authentic and knowledgeable yet accessible! I wanted smaller classrooms to feel close to my classmates and teachers.
I got what I was looking for at Ananda Ayurveda. The students are amazing and Vaidya (Dr) Raut, the director of AAA and main teacher, is an inspiration. There is not one single question that doesn't get answered, and Dr Raut knows exactly how to reference anything in the Ayurvedic texts, it's unbelievable. She knows so much, inside and outside Ayurveda, and she can so easily and passionately convey that knowledge to her students.
I live in Georgia and thought it would be impossible to study in Illinois, but I do some online classes and it's totally doable (and worth the trips!). I highly recommend Ananda Ayurveda Academy, no matter where you are in the country. Namaste.

Ananda Ayurveda Academy is the real deal. The courses offer a rigorous and authentic education rooted in the most traditional texts. The class schedule allows for full-time work simultaneous to enrollment and can be completed in person or online. The curriculum is accessible to people from all walks of life with a variety of backgrounds and interest in receiving this transmission. The theory is well balanced with practicum, and best of all is an opportunity to observe the results of Ayurvedic medicine first hand during an internship in India. The midwest is blessed to have such a program for optimizing health + happiness!

I am a proud student of Ananda Ayurveda Academy. I have begun my Ayurvedic learning at this school in the Ayurveda Wellness Counselor (AWC) program. Upon finishing the AWC program, I was very keen on enhancing my knowledge on Ayurveda, so I have enrolled myself in the Ayurveda Practiotioner (AP) program the consecutive year.
The curriculum was very well organized and designed. The faculty, especially Dr. Raut, is very knowledgeable. I truly admire Dr. Raut for all that she is doing to bring Ayurveda into light in the Western countries. Dr. Raut is a great teacher. She is knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and very understanding. She has always been helpful when I had approached her with any situations. She makes time for students and patiently listens to any questions or concerns they might have. The hands-on training at this school is a great experience, where the teacher shows you in detail how the procedures are done and you get to try it hands-on to gain more knowledge and experience. At the end of Ayurveda Practiotioner (AP) program, there's an Internship in India where we get to meet Ayurvedic doctors, shadow them, and gain in-depth knowledge on Panchakarma treatments or procedures. It was an incredible experience, and something you should not miss out on.
One of the biggest advantages at this school is that the classes are taught online as well as on campus. With access to online classes, anyone from any part of the world can take the classes. So, I urge everyone, who is interested in taking Ayurveda classes, to reach out to Ananda Ayurveda Academy and enroll yourself. Have a great learning experience at this school! 🙂

This is my first year studying ayurveda at Ananda Ayurveda.
I am from South Korea and came to the USA a couple of years ago. Since then, somewhat my food, lifestyles, and many others have been modified in a new environment and developed my ongoing health issue worse, so I started this school.
I am proud that I chose Ananda. The faculties are so supportive; I request meeting recordings almost every week even though I attended weekly meeting ( little late) and get all recordings. especially the instructor, Dr, Rauth, is very knowledgeable. I am learning new and relearning old authenic knowledge, which also practiced in south korea decades or hundreds years ago but forgotten or not practiced, which I vaguely knew without confidence because it was mixed with too much other information.
I highly recommend this school.

I am currently a very proud student of Ananda Ayurveda Academy in my first year studying in the Wellness Counselor program and just signed up for my second year in the Practitioner program. Dr. Raut and the other instructors are very supportive and strive to answer questions to increase understanding. The added bonus of the monthly workshops with experts to learn various methods to incorporate Ayurveda into everyday life add to the learning experience. There are lots of opportunities to get hands-on experiences and staff is there to support every step of the way.

I am current student at Ananda Ayurveda Academy. I feel very fortunate that I was introduced to this school to learn from the very best of teachers who are knowledgeable and dedicated to sharing and helping students grasp this deep yet amazing science of life. It's been a fascinating journey learning this ancient science of body , mind and spirit healing. The class is very detailed and through labs and homework help apply the learning, reinforce concepts and experience the benefits personally. Dr. Raut is a wonderful teacher with deep knowledge of this subject with a passion to not only help students understand Ayurveda but encourage and mentor them to grow spiritually so they can in turn spread this knowledge!! On my outer journey towards wellbeing and my inner journey towards higher consciousness, my school Ananda Ayurveda Academy is playing a big role. I found this school at the perfect time in my life and I do not think there is a better teacher of Ayurveda in USA than Dr. Raut, the founder of the academy. Her extensive knowledge and expertise of Ayurveda along with her unbelievable passion to teach the subject with incredible patience and love makes her the best ever teacher I have had in my life!
