Jake from Alpine Flight Training took me through my instrument and commercial training. He is a great teacher- safe and thorough, while also being friendly and relatable, which is important for an instructor you are going to spend many hours with in the cockpit! Loren’s program design is efficient and emphasizes big picture thinking and decision making that is built on a good understanding of fundamentals. No rote memorization here. During my Private training, Colin taught me how to safely fly in mountain wind and weather.. Everyone that worked with me here is great, and thanks to them I’m now in Alaska flying professionally!

This is the ideal flight training school. The instructors are experienced and safe, and teach because they have a passion for flying and sharing that with everyone they teach.

The meticulously maintained aircraft, and personalized training instill confidence while training in the mountains. But safety is always first.

I will definitely return for my instrument rating to build my skills with the best flight school in Colorado!!

Alpine Flight Training is a first class operation. They were very accommodating and got me through training quickly and efficiently. Loren and the other instructors are an incredible team. I soloed at 16 hours and had my license at 45 hours. I highly recommend and would come back to Alpine Flight Training when I'm ready to get my instrument rating.

Great planes, beautiful-challenging location, Friendly and knowledgeable staff, DPE on site. Loggable flight simulator. I recently got back into aviation and Alpine has helped me so much along the way. What more could an aviator ask for?
