I attended several sermons at Alpine Chapel while I was in Telluride for several weeks this winter (working). The sermon topics were "The Lords Prayer" and "Forgiveness." The content of the sermons was excellent. And like many times, they were what I needed to hear on those days. Pastor Jeff and his team welcomed me with smiles and took time to get to know me. It was really great to see families from out of town worshiping on Sunday, while they were on vacation. I like that I now have my church here in Phoenix and my Telluride church, Alpine Chapel, for when I come home to Telluride.

We attended this beautiful little chapel for a church service while vacationing in Telluride. Pastor Michael is AMAZING! Just what this town needs! Highly recommend. If we lived there we'd definitely be active members!

You will not find a better church in Telluride!!!!! We visit Telluride a couple of weeks every year, and Sunday service at the Alpine Chapel is by far our favorite part. The pastor and his family are incredibly friendly. He is doctrinally sound and a gifted speaker!

Alpine Chapel is a bible based church that teaches the love of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for this family of believers who are also my dear friends. I am so thankful the Lord blesses us with such a beautiful place to worship and with a Pastor who is wise, funny, relatable, knows his bible and Jewish history. Thank you all who attend and to those who are visiting or searching you are welcome to join us! ❤ī¸

I enjoy visiting churches when I travel, and have been to many across North America. I review the statement of faith before selecting a church, and Alpine's checked out in accord with Biblical principles. The teaching followed through on these, both in word and deed.

When I arrived, a man greeted me (though he wasn't one of the designated greeters) and struck up a conversation. He then offered me a seat next to himself and his wife. I was struck by how friendly people were; other adults and multiple high schoolers said hello and conversed with me as well. I enjoyed the fellowship time afterward, and will return to Alpine when I'm again in Telluride. Keep preaching and living God's Word, friends!

There is a 1 star review by "kschwink" below. I want to address it. My wife and I have been in the Telluride community for the last 15 years. I accepted Christ as my savior in 1990. I know the difference between a pastor who is trying to people please and fill seats versus a pastor who is obedient to God . Michael is the latter. He breaks down the Bible verse by verse and challenges the listener. His heart is transparent. When he started his journey at Alpine Chapel, dog feces were smeared on the front doors, a pentagram was sprayed painted on the wall. An athiest mother called other parents to try and cancel out/black list this Church. I was at Kate's place in Ridgway. In the bathroom someone wrote with magic marker...."Make Ridgway Christian Free". What I'm getting at is there is a conscious disdain to Christianity in this area by a group and "kschwink" more than likely is one of them trying a more subtle approach. If you come here, you will be fed the word of God. Alpine Chapel is a light in Telluride in which would otherwise be a spirituality dark and dead pit filled with God substitutes.
