The volunteers are super nice so I feel bad giving a negative review but I can't just not warn people about the food here. I received 90% vegetables and most of them are rotten or expired. Everything in my box was wet and anything small (including crackers) were crushed at the bottom. I also received a half thawed bag of mystery meat with no label whatsoever and a fruit/meat plastic bag filled with an unlabeled white powder? I think it's probably sugar but I didn't want to risk it. This is not safe!

This verse means nothing to these people It's amazing when they get lots and lots of donations from the Government how they can waste food just look at the photos I added.

Very Horrible Ruthless people i was told they help all Crawford Co. But wrong... They are so rude they don't care if you have food or not they turn you away, knowing they have plenty of food just sit back across the street and what everyone go through everything once there done with the line at noon and you will see them load there cars and trucks with lots of food...?they don't care... And yet people from Alma can come to Van buren and get food from our churches and food pantries np!!!
Update the woman took a month to respond because she had to make up a good story I know for a fact these liers take Food home and they should care about everyone not in just one town for it is written " I was hungry and you Fed me" they couldn't careless if a person is starving they would not help. I know they get more than enough food to help means there government owned.... And she can try to lie out of that one all she wants the government provides for them that's why they don't care to help anyone They will answer to the Almighty ?.....Update:8-15-2023

The people here are really awesome. Strictly operated on a volunteer basis. They are her because they care, simply put. This place really helps our community, if your in need of food or clothes stop by and receive your blessing.

I think it's amazing and very nice of them to hand out food to people who need it in the area. I've only had to use their services a couple of times but they are efficient and friendly and have really helped my family when we needed it. I appreciate their existence and what they're doing for the community.

The people working here are so helpful and friendly! Always willing to help out or just to listen... Parking could be better and waiting in line during any kind of weather isnt ideal, but no complaints here!

I do home health and one of my clients counts on the groceries to help her get through the month. What the volunteers do here is a wonderful blessing to many people in the area!
