What a great partner for small businesses! Yessenia is the very best and we've now worked on several deals together. Easy, straightforward and a successful operation top to bottom!

Super disappointed with the interactions, knowledge base and communications by the company. Simple questions that should be known and asked by actual professional loan officers are not part of the conversation and so much time wasted!
Their mission statement is a misnomer, and while some of the admin seem to have their act together, even they don't ask the most basic questions or offer the most basic information. Getting an answer to anything is like pulling teeth, and that exactly the opposite of what a busy solo entrepreneur and small business owner needs. Interacting with them reminds me that they are a business, not actually an org of community support as they claim to be. They must get reviewed by their higher-ups by the amount of time they string business owners along vs how many deals they close.
Suggestions for success for this company:
Ask thorough questions. Don't provide vague shallow answers.
Make your 'elevator pitch' honest and forthright. Don't waste my time.
Forecast potential issues. Help to provide solutions, or cut your clients loose.

These are basic business tenets that should be on the forefront of their training and business practices.
Chicago area small business coaching organizations need to stop recommending this company.

This organization is a disgrace. It is dishonest about requirements, it will waste your time, it will waste your money and your resources. For months I have attempted to comply with their requirements and they seem to change consistently without warning. Amanda Askew was terrible to work with and quite frankly, I thought she was rude in the first meeting when we met. I doubt they will address any issues or concerns given my experience and I sincerely hope that people stop trusting this organization. After a million dollars in revenue last year, a 670 credit score, and clearing any issues on the report, the standards keep on changing. I think it really comes down to honesty and transparency and this non-profit has none. We deserved better from this organization.

I am so thankful to have received such wonderful service from Allies for Community Business. Briana was my contact there and you could not ask for a more professional, courteous, and wonderful person to be on the other end of your phone call. Briana is super sharp, friendly, and knowledgeable. Altogether, a phenomenal experience. Thank you!

A4CB has been an amazing resource since I launched my small business, Dar Baklava. My business coach, Dani Zuchovicki, has been great in guiding me through the process and going through different decisions and networking opportunities. Highly highly recommend working with A4CB.

My review is a zero. The man Michael nash had my send bank statements, then two weeks later say I need a business bank account. They never answer the phone. The loan people don’t answer emails or return calls. These people are fraudsters and scammers and just like getting people information. All the good reviews on here are the people that work there making reviews. Excuses after excuses not to give black people a loan

I agree with Ashley wholeheartedly, these people are unprofessional, childish, and lack any talent or human empathy at all. I had Ada at first, she constantly asked for the same documents over and over, I requested a supervisor Yessenia, she has been worse.… she believes she is quite smart! She has been harassing she constantly ask for the same documents, she waits late until the day before she answers any questions so that she will make me wait till the next day. That is one childish act!! I’m going to find out directly who are the authorities and I’m gonna definitely get in contact with them if I have to go all the way up to the congressman. This needs to stop!! I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism in my entire dealing with the public. My credit is excellent I have a 800 score I supplied all documents and yet I am still waiting. My niece had a much lower score but she had a very professional person who took care of her and she’s had her loan for over a month and I applied for mine a month before she did. That should tell you just how petty and unprofessional these people are. Need I say more !! if someone knows how to get in touch with the Director or the president of this company I would greatly appreciate. Please put it on this website so I can contact them. They need to know how their business is being run.
