Our 10 year old daughter was very nervous to start karate, in fact she almost refused to participate. We wanted her to join as part of gaining confidence and self-esteem.
After the first 15 minutes Sensei Kari made her feel so comfortable and she loved it and couldn't wait to come back.
It's now been 6 months and she still feels the same!

My son absolutely loves going to karate. His instructors Sofie and Rorie are so amazing with him and he is so excited to go to classes weekly. Karate has been so great for him not only does he get to learn new things weekly and is excited to earn new colors on his belt but it has helped him to be more independent and go into these classes on his own without us right by his side. It has only been a couple months since he has started going and I see it only getting better and benefiting him in all parts of life.

My daughter started at 5, my son 7. I love this place and everything it represents. Discipline, confidence and the life lessons it truly teaches. We love the instructors and the human beings it teaches them to be. I worry less about their futures the older they get (even though it's only been a year!)... and I think as parents, that's huge.
