We sent our child here starting at 3 years old. This was the best decision we could’ve made for our family! The staff here is incredibly professional and treat all of the kids with respect. Our family has had children attend Ahren's for the past five years, moving through the youngest preschool class through Kindergarten. We are so incredibly grateful for the care provided to our son and daughter. At all times we knew they were in an environment that was safe and surrounded by people who truly cared for them. Our children grew into such wonderful little people under their watch. Not only did they learn from an academic standpoint but they continued to grow socially and emotionally. Our children entered into public school well above their peers in regards to subjects like math and reading but, more importantly, they were more mature, knew how to be kind friends, and were ready to learn. I would recommend Ahren's without any reservations.

I have attended Ahrens Preschool myself and I remember what an enjoyable educational experience I had. I am so pleased to see that the legacy and quality has continued more than 25 years later. I am grateful that my daughter will be able to attend Ahrens and also experience their warm, friendly, family-oriented environment and benefit from their ability to create a foundation that will have her well prepared for elementary school. The staff is responsive and caring and the teachers are patient. Ahrens is a pillar of the community, and they are helping shape the future members of the very community they serve.

I don’t think I can fully express how grateful I am to everyone at Ahrens. I remember taking my daughter to Ahrens for the first time. I selected them based on recommendations from coworkers (and the more than fair prices). Although I trusted the recommendations I was still scared to leave my girl with strangers. What came to develop is something money cannot buy. I didn’t know that in a few short years a friendship would grow not only for my daughter but for me as well. The family that owns this school is so kind and loving. All of the staff have been so attentive to my daughter during her various levels here. This school is everything you hope for in child care. They treated her as their own ? They took the time to get to know her inside and out. They not only nurtured her academically but emotionally as well. I’m extremely sad to be moving on from this school. My daughter will be attending first grade in a few days and needless to say Ahrens as set a very high standard in quality of care. Thank you to all who watched over my baby and helped her be the best her. ? PS now to start potty training my son, we’ll be back soon!! ? In a while crocodile ?

My children attended Ahrens back in the early 1990's and now my grandson attends Ahrens. It was like walking back in time the first time I went to pick up my grandson. I have never had (nor could I imagine having) a bad experience with this group of people. The environment is positive and upbeat and the kids are always so very happy. Thank you Ahrens for offering such a quality environment to the Redlands Toddler population and peace of mind to many, many parents.

Our daughter JiJi started at Ahrens when she was 3 and was there throughout Kindergarten. Placing her at Ahrens was one of the best decisions we have made regarding our daughter. The owners and staff are absolutely amazing, we could truly see their love for children! Our daughter received wonderful educations at Ahrens and when she went into 1st grade she was so well prepared. We never had any situations with bullying and unkind children...we will always be grateful for the Ahrens family!

I was very happy to discover Ahrens Child Care Center over 5 years ago as I looked for preschool options for my son. Ahrens came highly recommended from a friend who now has her fourth child starting preschool at Ahrens. With the tremendous foundations laid at Ahrens, our son has gone on to be a successful elementary student in public school. His teachers have complimented his classroom behavior, his willingness to volunteer and help others. His 2nd grade teacher, who has taught elementary school for over 25 years said he had never come across a student so dedicated, polite and helpful. My husband and I truly believe our son’s studious and good natured attitude were nurtured by his teachers at Ahrens.
Our daughter followed her older brother into preschool and kindergarten having graduated from Ahrens in June 2015. We consider ourselves blessed that her formative years were shaped, in part, by the staff at Ahrens. Her reading, writing and arithmetic skills are remarkable and she will no doubt continue to shine in elementary school.
One of the things we will surely miss is taking part in the annual Christmas Show. Not knowing quite what to expect our first year at Ahrens we were blown away at the production put together by the Ahrens staff. Every year the show continues to grow and there is nothing as delightful as seeing all the children perform. The kindergarten class is highlighted in the show and it is great to see their hard work preparing for the performance.
Ahrens is family owned and operated and I believe this has been proven beneficial to the children of Redlands for over 30 years. My husband and I highly recommend Ahrens Child Care Center preschool and kindergarten programs to all our friends.
