In my experience, my 3-month old became very ill in the classroom. I asked why the A/C was so cold, the receptionist explained to me they had to start the day with 69 degrees Fahrenheit. My child stayed daily from 7:50 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. My family & I paid 2-weeks in advance. I wanted to take a 2-week vacation & their policy is if a child misses 5 days in one month, full tuition is still charged. We withdrew our child. I asked for a full week refund & they said their policy was not to return our money. As a working parent & as a member of society I feel this center does not care about the well-being of children in their center. The daycare told me many times in my face: “We are a business!” After I withdrew my child I still had to do a follow-up call & ask for my infant’s personal belongings. I made a second trip to pick up my infant’s items. Families in this community: please look for & politely ask for quality child care, including all aspects of customer service and teacher credentials. I would not recommend to conduct “business” with this center if you have an infant under the age of 6 months.

Over the past 6 months I've really noticed a huge change in this daycare and I'm so glad my grandson goes here. He's really happy and enjoys going to daycare. It makes it so much easier on my daughter when dropping him off. He really likes his teacher and Miss Sassy is very knowledgeable and you can tell she really cares about the kids.

If I can give these people at this center a ZERO I would! And I’m moving forward with legal action. I don’t know who hires these people to watch the kids. For my daughter to have severe marks and open wounds underneath her lip and a black eye coming from here and no one called me, nor left a message regarding what happened to her should get this damn place shut the hell down, putting my daughter in this daycare and trusting these people to care for her was a big mistake and I don’t feel they watch these kids as much as we parents think. The first time i saw my daughter with a bite mark on her face they told me one of the children bit her, I’m like ok I know how it can be with kids in that way, but this second time was over the top and they said a child pushed her to the floor but the scratches and marks looked like something more happened to her. I had to take her to the hospital and the doctor said the same. This place has traumatized me from putting my daughter in any other daycare ever again.

Our daughter started coming here when she was 9months old. I was so nervous to leave her,however, Claudia was such a good provider and put our fears @ ease. We took her out of the center due to employment change which turned out to be the biggest mistake. She is back @ Active Learning and she is doing so great!Alexa, Lety, Claudia, and Jackie are the best!I'm a Dept of Veterans Affairs employee and they acted fast and appropriate in their screening process and ensuring the safety of the children and staff. Even during this difficult time , the staff remain positive and focus on fun activities for the kids!! Thank you guys!!

It seems like the worker Anna is very hard to deal with. She doesn’t really help out . I haven’t had my kids there yet, we will see how it goes.. and I’ll update later . they won’t work with you on money. They will say they need to get paid right away before you drop off your kid.

Omg I feel like my son is learning and growing up so much with you guys, I love it! Every day I pick him up he says a new word I have never heard him say before and it makes me so happy! We were worried about him talking because he has a lip tie and the dr said it could affect his speech and confidence thereafter but he just loves it there so much and he is thriving! He has so many friends and loves all his teachers!

This center is amazing! They work with a diverse population of families and cater to the needs of the children. The Director Amber is extremely friendly. All of the teacher genuinely care about the children.
