Our son came to Russ with an F in math along with a negative attitude about school because he was struggling with the subject. After a few meetings we could see a huge change in his willingness and desire to go to school. After a few months he had an A in math and was truly enjoying school as well as math again. Russ is a great tutor. He has an amazing way to engage with students and take complex STEM coursework and make it manageable and enjoyable for teens-- all over zoom. Russ is an awesome tutor. He has helped my daughter atually understand the material from her advanced chemistry and advanced math classes. Often the teachers don't explain the material well, or just don't have time to address all the questions students have. Russ is able to field all the questions, and guide her through to understanding the underlying principles in a way that is much more than just getting the right answer. He's always on time, on point and fun!

I can't say enough great things about Russ and his fun approach to all levels of math and science. He's brilliant (which is why he's so good at this!) and he relates to the kids in such an amazing way to make it understandable and fun for them. Russ Hanush is an amazing tutor. He was recommended by a friend who's daughters went through high school with his help. My Grandson has been with Russ for the 7th & 8th grades. Russ is without a doubt one of the most patient and enlightening mentors I have had the pleasure of working with. Being a biochemistry major at the University of Oregon, challenging math courses are inevitable. Me being somewhat of a novice in this realm of my education, I would not have excelled in my calculus and chemistry courses without Russ’s guidance. Ultimately, to claim that his tutoring is enjoyable let alone “fun,” is an extreme understatement. Could not have asked for a better tutor.
