I liked that it was self paced, but at the same time it wasn't. You had to complete the course in 2 months. I was doing my best to learn the material. Due to suffering from chemo brain, I ended up taking the course twice. Just glad I was able to get through it all.

This course made it very easy and possible to get through all the material, understand it and have help every step of the way. Amy is an amazing and very patient instructor. I would recommend this course to any one who is trying to further their career in this field.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I attended for my CNA certification. First off the class was delayed 2 weeks due to a lack of teachers, we also had issues with 3/4 clinical days not being fully staffed. 2 of those having to be cancelled and rescheduled, and one resulting with us waiting 2 hours with no teacher and having to stay late to make up those hours. I was also informed when registering that it was an all inclusive price including supplies and scrubs. The scrubs were not delivered till after the class portion was complete even though scrubs were mandatory for class. I was also notified 3 weeks in that supplies were not included and I needed to buy my own. Adding in mandatory fingerprint cards, physicals and more I ended up having to spend an extra $250 on this class. The classroom portion was also extremely unprofessional and poorly run. The only good part was the teacher Deanette. The facility is very dirty and never cleaned, the material is outdated and contradicts itself multiple times. The behavior from multiple classmates also made this an extremely painful experience (this was brought up to staff multiple times.)

I had attended here first for my medtech certification. Amy and lesly were very knowledgeable and I felt like I got alot out of that class in terms of education. I do recommend that program as it was at your own pace and you're given the necessary tools to aquire said certification.
I decided to try the CNA class they offer. I signed up for a weekend cohort and I was able to pay the entire tuition up front as I thought the program would go smoothly like the last class I did. First thing that threw me off was the start date getting pushed back. I thought maybe they just needed a bit more time to prep so I didn't let it get to me.
The 2nd was one day all the weekend class including me showing up and no teacher. We all waited outside for almost an hour trying to get ahold of someone to figure out what was going on. Finally, a teacher that wasn't even scheduled that day, answered us and said that there wasn't going to be class today. That would have been good information to give before we all showed up.
3rd was our clinical rotation schedule. I assumed since my trust paid a little more than 2500 for this class that I would have a schedule. We all were given one and then told a week before that they couldn't find an instructor. So our date of completion kept getting pushed back.
Then we got a message through khajabi, the communication app we all had to sign up for, that WE had to schedule our own rotation hours. I personally was extremely agitated with this as I had to take time off work to do my rotation hours just to get them over with. Scheduling times during the week completely defeated the purpose of a WEEKEND cohort which I'm assuming was an option for those of us that worked, and hence why I chose that specifically.
I get it, staffing is difficult everywhere right now, but the amount of apologies my peers and I had received does not make up for the amount of time that was wasted from me. My advice, maybe ask and make sure they have their sh** together before you sign all the paperwork. Aside from all that, I am grateful for the teachers that did show up and I am especially grateful for Rita, the weekend RN teacher.

I just finished the CNA course. I learned a lot in the class because I have been in the field for 30 yrs and there was a lot I didn’t know. There are something’s that need to be ironed out, but no system is perfect. The school tried really hard to accommodate and be fair. Now I can move to get my CNA certification

The people who work here are awesome! I got certified as a caregiver here and the whole team was very friendly and approachable. They explained what needed to be done clearly and gave a lot of good learning tools. The computer lab hours were great for someone needing a flexible schedule. Rosa was extremely helpful and Leslie was always cheerful when welcoming me or answering my questions. You can tell everyone here is very passionate about what they do and they truly want to see you succeed. They even helped me look for jobs after graduating. When I needed help for the skills lab they were glad to work around my schedule. Very knowledgeable about what things will be on the test and common errors. With their help I passed on the first try and felt very confident coming test day. Many also speak spanish if that's something you need. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.
