This is the second year my children have been attending this school. They absolutely love it. It is a small school, but I feel because it's smaller the teachers are able to teach each kid individually depending if they need a bit of extra help. Staff is absolutely great, friendly, courteous and respectful. I always recommend other parents here because I know their children will be well taken care of and taught.

It is not a bad school but the problem was with the teachers. Every year there would be different teachers and even during the school year and it would be a problem for kids and parents. But how they taught my kids,mostly my older kid, was very well.

I have never in all my years of teaching (10+) seen a school that really puts their scholars first. Each day is seems effortless with thought out plans and smooth transitions. Kids are engaged, excited, and genuinely cared for.
I am grateful to have found such a wonderful place to be a part of. Teaching staff, admin, office supports, para, subs, and cleaning crew are all knowledgeable, hard working, and kind.
I highly recommend this school not only as a career choice but also as a parent.

I liked I was able to contact teachers regarding any concerns right away. There are a lot of family functions to do together as a community but not overwhelming. I can see the staff are trying to accommodate parents' and students' goals. I did not rate a 5 because there was one issue that took too long to resolve but as I said, they are trying.

I have had an amazing experience with the staff and educators in this school. My Son’s kindergarten teacher is amazing (Mrs.Lease) and enjoy the interaction with my child. The team is great and the only thing I would recommend is more communication betweeen staff and parents when it comes to being replaced. Other than that, this is a good academy.

I am a new parent to Academy of Math and Science Phoenix Charter School and I love it! My son and daughter came from out of state and I was worried about the transition. The administration and staff made the transition very smooth and easy for my children to make friends and continue to get the good grades they had at their previous school. I am very pleased at the communication I get from the principal and teachers for all matters.I am informed on all school events and all parent information newsletters. My children are happy and looking forward to the new school year. Go AMS !
