Honestly, they don’t teach anything. Maybe, because the 3 year old is too young to be a musician.
First part of the class kids play in that indoor playground and during second part everyone is sitting on a dirty floor and singing kids songs without any accompanying.

All teachers are really nice but this doesn’t compensate a lack of real music.

I have been bringing my daughter here since she turned one, she's now almost 17 months and I have noticed such a difference in her in just 5 months! She LOVES her music class every week. She is making friends, exploring her surroundings, not being so attached to me. I have noticed her coordination is better and she recognizes songs and musical instruments now. The class is perfect for her attention span and age. We look forward to going every week! Miss Leslie is fantastic with the kiddos and super creative, each week/month we have a new theme and activities.

My daughter is 15 months old and has been going to Melody Gym with Miss Leslie for about 6 months now. When I ask her if she is excited to go to music class she literally squeaks with excitement. Being a baby born during the pandemic it’s been so nice to have her involved with other kids and she loves the interaction with both the physical movement side of class and the musical side. It’s great! We look forward to coming every week.

I started bringing my son here around 18 mo. He has some sensory issues and gets overloaded quickly. We did the AussieRoo Gym as well as music class. He did really well there and the instructors are really good. They know how to tune into your child's strength as well as weakness. We took a small hiatus and moved him into something else for a while and recently have returned to gym class. He was thrilled to be back and has made so much progress with his sensory issues. Miss Kristen does a great job with the kids, lessons and explaining so the parents understand how the lessons work and how they impact the kids. I would recommend a Child's Song to anyone looking to put their child into an environment that is fun as well as teaching necessary skills.

My son started going to the Friday morning class almost a year ago. The staff is wonderful, always understanding, and so much fun to be around! They are patient with him on his attitude-y days, and playful with him on his good days! The environment is free enough let him be independent, but also gives him the chance to participate and be a goofball while still learning, dancing, being active, and just loving his little toddler life! Circumstances changed, and I had to put my guy in a more traditional daycare, or he would still be enrolled in this class!

My son has been attending piano classes here with Kirstin and Jared for almost a year. He absolutely loves it and the teachers are so great and patient.

We have had our daughter in ACS since she was a toddler. The music and moment classes helped her physical development and coordination greatly. We also loved the parent/child bonding times.

Now she is 4 and in preschool, beginning to learn the keyboard. More importantly she is learning to attend and focus, listen to instruction, and the importance of practice. Seeing her work through from being frustrated to the sense of pride is awesome to see and a lesson she will take forward forever.

Thanks ACS!
