I honestly don't see the negative reviews. We transferred to MVCA mid semester from a public school my child was having issues in. Since joining MVCA, communication with the staff and teachers has been rather easy and they respond rather quickly to any questions you may have. As for the classwork, my child is happy with the coursework thus far, and he doesn't have hours on hours of homework each night that others are claiming they get. I am very pleased thus far and will keep my child enrolled next year with MVCA also.

This is our second year with K12 they give the kids too much homework!!!! They don’t think you should have a life the teachers never get back with you and you can never get in contact with the principal if you need to speak with her the teachers they make you feel like your child is stupid they don’t take the time out to try to help your child. This school is horrible. I am looking for a new school for my kids online.

How in the world can a teacher, EVA WORTH
ING, that is elected for a council seat, stand up to fight another council person, not once but twice, wonder if the kids are watching this? How embarrassing!,,she represents your school in the public eye, not only that she assaulted a person, shes need to be evaluated seriously…. She is labeled as a KAREN..but she represents your school, the state need to step in, seems like you are ok with this…
Shame on your administration !!!

Eva worthing has just about solidified your school as a racial bating classist, egregious audastic representation of ALL of the wrong things that schools are supposed to be.. you've had multiple complaints and refused to enact justice.

When I first looked at some of these reviews, I had to double check that I was leaving a review for the right school, because I love this school. My daughter is in third grade at Michigan Virtual Charter Academy. She made the transition from a normal brick and mortar school to Michigan Virtual Charter Academy. My daughter's teacher Mrs.Sharp is wonderful and very helpful. She definitely goes above and beyond for her students and their families. Every interaction I have had with the staff has been wonderful. The school is very organized and professional. I have nothing but great things to say about MVCA. My daughter is learning a lot of new things. It is also teaching her how to be more responsible and have better computer skills as well. If you work the program they provide for your child, attend all the classes and keep up to date on all the assignments; you child will succeed.

The curriculum is challenging. The teachers give clearly instructed assignments and are very willing to help by setting up special sessions with the kids when they need it. I've never had a problem communicating with any of the staff. We have been doing this for almost 4 years now. You'll notice most of the bad reviews are clearly from people who think that schooling at home is a breeze. It is demanding for the learning coach as well as the student, but that should be expected from any independent learning environment! I would, and do, recommend MVCA.

K12 has been a blessing for my son as well as myself ? the teachers are amazing kind and understanding as well as any of the staff I have been in contact with. He is able to stay on track with learning, and if he falls behind they have extra classes to catch up. My son has become more confident in himself and independent, I much happier student,I highly recommend k12 to everyone I know, two families I know have joined this year and are amazed with k12.'
