Atya and the staff at Kumon - Francisco Village are nothing short of fantastic! The progress that my kids have made in both reading and math is remarkable. The Kumon program has helped them considerably in school and we have seen remarkable improvements in these subjects. The staff is engaging, helpful, cheerful and always professional. We have enjoyed being a part of this center! Thank you, Atya, for your dedication to your students and families!

It’s been a great experience with my daughter enrolled in both Math and English at Kumon center in Francisco Village, El Dorado Hills. She was evaluated when she came in and started at I would say the right level and she has never looked back. Kumon levels are very comprehensive and well structured to nurture the discipline and rhythm the kids need to succeed. There is still some level of parent involvement needed at home to help enforce the principles Kumon is trying to instill in your kids. It’s pretty effective I think. I am glad we have access to a Kumon center in our community. It definitely helps kids learn the basics and core of both math and English to prepare them ahead of school so that they when they get to high school they can prepare for college well in advance. Ms. Atya, the owner and director of the center herself has a PhD. No wonder why such a program succeeds.

No pain, no gain! I may be old fashioned, but that old adage is true for a reason. My two daughters did Kumon classes here for a little over two years. They were in 2nd and 4th grade and they were struggling in Math. (Read way below grade level post Covid.) Even though they complained about their worksheets, we stuck with it and now, two years later, they are back to grade level and much more confident. I recommend this place—Ms. Atya, Ms. Jen are accommodating and helpful! The young tutors are friendly and my kids enjoyed working with them too.

Nidhi was enrolled in Kumon when she was 7 years old and studying in 2nd grade. The first thing that impressed me was the professionalism and warmth of the staff. Mrs. Atya, the instructor was approachable, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my child’s specific needs. Nidhi is now 2 years above her grade level in the Kumon Program. In this calendar year 2023, Nidhi completed 3 levels and now at K-level equivalent to high school Math. Per Nidhi, She likes the most of kumon is it gives good confidence level at school and with less effort to gain advance knowledge. Mrs. Atya, is always ready for any help irrespective of time and schedule and made Math program an enjoyable and interesting subject for my daughter.

My kids have been enrolled in both subjects at this center for about 7 years now. We are very happy and we plan to finish the program. The lead instructor Mrs. Atya Aziz is very nice, highly educated and positive individual, who sets a great example for the students. She is always open to communication. Always ready to help with any questions or concerns. She is also flexible and can easily adjusts the program according to the particular child’s needs. My kids are learning at a steady pace. This makes them very confident at school and makes them feel good about themselves that they work hard, achieve results and know a lot. On top the program is also very affordable compared to some similar programs.

Reading at the early levels tought my kids to read and write earlier than their classmates. Further into it, it prepares my child to have a very solid base in reading comprehension of a variety of highly detailed topics. Also prepares the child to be able to express an informed opinion about the particular subject. It broadens their vocabulary immensely.

The kumon math provides a very solid and challenging program and Mrs. Atya is great at tutoring it and providing all the resources for the students’ success. My child currently is working 2 grade levels above her grade and receives constant assistance and quidance from Mrs. Atya. She encourages my child, keeps her motivated, and is always available to help with any math question or just to be there for my child. Also the rest of the stuff there is also very friendly and helpful.
Overall we are very happy with the kumon program, this particular kumon center and the lead instructor Mrs. Atya. I cannot recommend them enough. Enroll your kids, you will see great results and have a very positive experience, while preparing your kids to become knowledgeable, confident and successful adults.
