Nothing fancy, but what I needed. Suspect it is much changed from the year my father attended before the U.S. entered WWII.

Such a disappointment in an accredited establishment. This school has turned woke and practices reverse discrimination. They will not stand behind their students but instead promote inappropriate behavior in the classroom that hurts and disturbs their students. I encourage you to consider what you're willing to sacrifice mentally, emotionally, and morally by sending your child or yourself to this school. Many professors are not biased and respect students' opinions, but some professors are ruthless if you don't agree with their teaching or lifestyle. Typical of a corrupt institution. Such a sad ending to a once qualified university. ☹️

Overall, this is an excellent college. It has a few problems involving students with loans and financial failure but overall the student body is cared for dearly. The president posts on Twitter often, the school representative (Jerry the bulldog) is seen around campus all the time, there are a lot of student events throughout the semester, the football team has gotten much better recently, the band is phenomenal, and the teacher to student ratio is great. I have had one lecture class with more than 30 students. Many of my classes are less than 20 students. The school tries to maintain a large school setting with a small school atmosphere. I strongly recommend Arkansas Tech to any students interested. Also, it's great to drive through and the food varies from day to day. Sometimes its great, sometimes it's not so great.

I love the school when compared to other places I could have gone. It's cheaper. The campus is relatively small and flat. I can walk across campus in anywhere from 10-30 minutes. Most of the professors I have had actually care about the students. Alas, I haven't been doing to well grade wise. At least I've made a go at it.

I was working on getting my Masters here, but in the end it didn’t work out. Admittedly, I had struggles in statistic work and did my best to improve, but just couldn’t quite get to the level of their expectations and so with only 3 classes left to complete my degree, I had to throw in the towel. I had an advisor that was difficult to get ahold of though and sometimes wouldn’t hear from him until the second or third attempt to contact him. Many times I felt like just an outsider in the program as I was a non-thesis student and they were more worried about their thesis students. Even when I did get ahold of him at times, he failed to get things coordinated and so I made a special trip to the school to complete something just to find out it was never coordinated. There was a couple of professors that I had a hard time following and understanding their approach to teaching the material. I asked if I could possibly take a similar class at another university and transfer it in, being that there were no other options, and that was refused by my advisor. I wasn’t the only one complaining about that class either. I use to love going to school, learning new things and expanding my abilities, but this place ended up burning me out and taking away that vigor to learn new things and pursue education. I plan to try and transfer my graduate credits elsewhere someday and finish my degree at another university.

I enjoyed attending ATU from 2010-2014. It has been a great school. I have studied engineering there and they provided with me with a great education. It is an ABET accredited school, which is great accreditation to have. ATU staff was always great. I also worked in several offices on campus as a student worker and enjoyed the people I worked with. They have a lot of student activities and opportunities to grow. They have up-to-date facilities. Also, it is a great cost in comparison to other schools in Arkansas. It is definitely not a party school and it is located in a small town. ATU works hard to provide great education at the great price, and provide students with many opportunities.
