We were with cornerstone for 2 years and it was nothing but a headache from the jump. I stayed because I wanted consistency and stability for my son and kept hoping and praying that it would get better, but every time I turned around it was something. This is in no way a “learning center” for starters. It is a glorified daycare. The staff leave just as fast as they come, the administrators are terrible, and I could not be happier that I finally moved my son to another school. I didn’t realize how bad it was until everyday after school since he has been moved my son has said “the teachers here are so nice. They were so mean at my old school.” Brought tears to my eyes. Just check the DHS website for yourself. I strongly encourage you to before sending your child here. It’s awful.

Paid $350 to be on a "guaranteed" waiting list. The wait was nearly a year and the entire time leading up to the date we never heard from Cornerstone after they took our money. Finally the date arrived and I was unable to get into contact with them. Finally a month later I was able to get someone on the phone who said they would refund me..... It's been about 2 months since then and I still haven't received a response or a refund.

Toured this daycare in February and left a deposit to be on the waitlist. When I called in September to check my status, they could not find me in the system. I asked what happened and was told that anyone who had toured around the same time had been lost from the system. They were “trying to figure out who was on the waitlist and get in contact with them.” I was never contacted, nor given my deposit back despite not even being on a waitlist. They told me I could reapply and pay another deposit. Such a disappointment thinking I was going to have a place that I originally liked for my child.

This daycare has the potential to be something great, but right now, it needs a lot of TLC. The current struggle to keep good staff is quite extreme. The last minute closure of classes due to staffing is next level. Parents choose daycares because they know that they will be open from day-to-day and week-to-week. This facility cannot promise this at this time. Diving deeper, there are major DHS concerns that are not disclosed to parents including time out for two-year-olds in the bathroom and fight club for 3 and 4-year-olds where the teachers are encouraging this behavior. It is not normal to have multiple site visits a month from DHS (most schools have an annual one). I have heard that some teachers left for fear that the daycare would make it to the news soon (due to children being harmed). I would encourage this center to pause and reflect for the rest of the year. Maybe focus on rebuilding and providing education and financial compensation for the staff that you are able to retain. Right now, what is happening is not working. We had a good run and had some great teachers, but sadly, most of them are no longer working at this facility.

My son was at Cornerstone for over a year! We absolutely loved it there! The staff is amazing, Christian and Felecia are always available to answer all my questions…. The teachers are fantastic! We are going to miss them dearly! Thank you cornerstone for taking care of my baby ?

They should remove “learning center” from their name, my daughter regressed academically in the very short time she was there. Their payment processing was all over the place, could be Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday, so of course over drafting was a frustrating occurrence. I gave ample notice of when my daughter was leaving yet they still charged me for weeks she didn’t attend. I left multiple messages for Christina, who fancy’s herself as a director, about said issues yet I have still not received a follow up call. There are plenty of options for daycare in the area, look elsewhere.

Our experience at Cornerstone has been nothing but exceptional! We transitioned here from another daycare that we also loved. It can be rather overwhelming to choose a new daycare for your child. Cornerstone has done nothing less than welcome us with the very best. From week one, our 16-month old daughter gladly started waving us good-bye at the start of her morning. Not a tear in sight.Though sad, there is nothing more reassuring than seeing this. All the staff from Ms. Jessica, Emily, Keisha, Dafina, and Chrissy (and all the others..you know who you be!) are exceptional. I would never think twice about this daycare. Cornerstone has a Christian foundation that is evidently put into practice and modeled daily through the care of these children.

My child has been with Cornerstone for the last 3 years. We couldn’t be happier. She received wonderful care and is currently in their elementary program and is learning much faster and more advanced material than she was in public school. We love the teachers and the director is amazing!
