If you have a child and you live anywhere in the greater Austin area -- then I'd say you should send your child here, all the way from kindergarten to eighth grade. They'll have a wonderful childhood in a warm and welcoming environment where they never have to be afraid to go to school, where every day is colorful, where learning is fun -- and they'll be taught everything they need to learn in order to move on to any public or private high school they'd like to go to afterward. That was my experience! Pat myself on the back every day for having sent my kid here from K-8. It was the happiness choice, but it was also the smart choice.

Whole Life Learning Center is the school I didn’t know we needed—until I saw who my son is becoming.
As a father who leads with intensity and vision, I want my son to grow up rooted in his own confidence, not just performing to external expectations. At Whole Life, Ren isn’t just learning facts—he’s learning who he is.

What stands out is how the mentors treat curiosity like it’s sacred. They don’t crush it. They listen. They follow it. And because of that, Ren comes home asking real questions—not for approval, but because he’s genuinely thinking.

This school isn’t traditional, and that’s exactly why it works. It lets kids stay human in a world that’s forgetting what that means. They get to move, to lead, to be still, to create—and to be seen for their actual intelligence, not just how well they conform.

As a parent who challenges systems and leads companies, I see this place as an antidote to burnout and conformity. It’s where human potential gets protected early. And for Ren, it’s not just a school—it’s a foundation for the kind of man I want him to become.

Our family's experience at this school has changed all of our lives for the better. I wish more people had the opportunity to experience this kind of education, especially at the middle school level.

The world would be a better place if all children had this kind of schooling. Children learn how to be loving and respectful human beings, how to be in the world actively and consciously, and how to explore and learn their whole life long. A wonderfully accepting and nurturing environment, with deeply caring adults guiding them along.
