I can't say enough good things about Spokane HOPE School. I have had firsthand experience with the incredible impact of both their educational and SLP services, and it’s truly life-changing. The staff is not only highly trained and professional, but they are also deeply compassionate and committed to every child’s success.

The combination of high-quality early education and individualized speech therapy made a huge difference for us. The progress I’ve seen is remarkable — not just in communication skills, but in confidence and social development too. Spokane HOPE understands how to support children with hearing loss and communication challenges in a way that is empowering, respectful, and effective.

I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for our family. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be seen, supported, and set up to thrive, I highly recommend Spokane HOPE.

Hope is an amazing place to send your kiddos. The whole team is amazing, kind, patient, attentive and dedicated to the success of every child and child's family unit.
The teachers set a very high bar for what an educator can be. I'm rather concerned no teacher my children encounter in the future will be able to measure up to the ones employed by Hope. They go above and beyond to include and thoroughly understand your child and what is needed for their specific stage of comprehension and development.

The classroom helpers are so sweet and fun and kind and equally as dedicated to providing kids with a safe, fun, exciting day of learning.

The therapist team is amazingly educated and constantly learning more and gaining the knowledge necessary to help children with all variety of hearing loss, even going so far as to obtain further education on children with hyper specific, genetically caused structural breakdowns and how that impacts their specific hearing capabilities.

In my mind, there will never be a team of people that genuinely loves, cares for and wants the best for your child and your family like that which exists at Hope school.
My kids were excited to go to school every day, came home with so much joy and excitement about what was learned that day, and we're genuinely a little heartbroken when their time at Hope school ended and they realized they weren't going to see their teachers again.

You as a parent can feel every day the intense passion and genuine care in the whole team every day. I cannot speak highly enough of our families experience with the school and every single person who composes the team that Hope has built.

This is a wonderful little non profit school that does an amazing job at delivering on their promise to help children learn to use their cochlear implants. They teach these children to be able to function as well as any other hearing child as they develop. It is a truly endearing environment that focuses completely on the children's learning and development. I can't say enough good things about what I've seen here!

HOPE has been one of our greatest resources after my daughter's deaf diagnosis. Angela, the teachers, and the other employees are simply wonderful. They have taken the time to get to know my child and go above and beyond to help her thrive. My daughter (2.5 years old) absolutely loves going to HOPE. She is always excited to see we've arrived for another Toddler Time, and we can't wait for her to eventually enter the preschool classroom there!

The Hope school and all its staff have been such a blessing. Not only have they been amazing with educating and working with my hearing impaired child but they have been the biggest support for us both! Learning my son had hearing loss was scary and confusing. Everyone at Hope gave me so much guidance and encouragement. I can’t imagine where we would be without them. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable but the compassion and love they show is magic!

Words can hardly express the gratitude we feel for the incredible team at HOPE. This school is not just a place of education—it is a sanctuary of belonging, empowerment, and possibility for deaf and hard of hearing children.

When we first learned of our child’s hearing difference, we were overwhelmed with questions, fears, and uncertainty about the road ahead. But the moment we walked through the doors of HOPE, everything changed. We were met with compassion, clarity, and a level of expertise that immediately brought peace to our hearts. From that day forward, we knew our child had found their village.

The teachers and staff here are more than educators—they are language nurturers, advocates, and champions of each child's potential. They see each child as whole, brilliant, and full of promise. They meet them where they are and build a bridge to where they can go—through spoken language, assistive technology, and most of all, through love and unwavering belief in their abilities.

Our child has not only learned to communicate—they have found their voice. They are confident, curious, joyful, and proud of who they are. Watching them verbally speak with friends, express themselves in the classroom, and build real relationships has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

What makes HOPE exceptional is the community it creates—not just for the children, but for the families. We have found support, guidance, and connection here that we never knew we needed. The school has equipped us to become better advocates and more connected parents, and for that, we are forever grateful.

If you are looking for a school that will not only educate your child but truly see and celebrate them, look no further. HOPE is a rare and beautiful place where children thrive—not in spite of their differences, but because those differences are honored, understood, and embraced.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you, HOPE, for changing our lives.
