Awful, awful place that criminalizes being terrified of being homeless. They call the cops on you if you express ANY despondency. I’m so sorry I’m going to be homeless and am depressed I will likely die from assault and lack of care. They refuse to help you find housing beyond acting like info and referral. They don’t actually provide ANY help that I’ve been able to discern beyond giving you a list of social service agencies in town that know absolutely nothing about the needs of disabled/chronically ill. No idea why this place exists

I reached out to Direct about implementing more accessibility at Tucson Meet Yourself; they have been wonderful partners in creating an accessibility guide that ensures we meet the needs of all TMY attendees. Further, I have put people in the community in touch with them so that their access needs are met. They are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

It's a nice facility and they seem to have more physical resources then many of their sister agencies I've seen in other cities. The staff were friendly. But of my dozen visits there was only one time a receptionist was present and able to locate my counselor. And my counselor spent half our sessions on her phone & then ghosted without cancelling multiple appointments or responding to my queries. I understand that she may have been traveling or had medical concerns but it is inexcusable that there is no one at the agency that can explain to me that she is out of the office for weeks on end. So they may have resources that you need but you will have to limit your expectations, be patient and advocate aggressively for yourself
