I am so very glad that rabbi Cohan continued to do what he does best he in my opinion is the strength of our religion in this town he is active both physically and spiritually he has a youthful outlook on faith and he is a real kids person he has physical activities for all of us from music,to services while hiking to services on horseback you never know what’s up his sleeve but he always makes it interesting and his singing voice is so great. To sum up it is the best temple setting I have been to in Tucson hope to see you there always Beit Simcha

I moved to Tucson 7 months ago, and was fortunate enough to find Congregation Beit Simcha. Rabbi Cohon delivers exceptional sermons on Friday night and also personally leads thought provoking Torah Studies on Shabat morning, followed by a service that is typically about 1hr, 15 min, but inclusive of all prayers. Rabbi Cohon also chants directly from the Torah and was a former cantor, which is quite evident in his remarkable tone and voice quality. (You really must listen to him.). The congregants are all extremely nice and welcoming, as you will immediately feel like you are home. After attending many other reform services in town, I was so taken by the hospitality that I joined shortly after. The kids programs are amazing as they are always smiling on the Bima and happy to participate. There are so many programs of study and areas to get involved, if you so choose.
If you are looking for a great place to worship and be part of a wonderfully growing temple family, Beit Simcha is a must on your list. Try ‘one’ service, and you will see what I mean.
