Wait a month excited for the interview. Leave an hour early as planned so I can make time. Unfortunate accident on highway. No one is moving. For an hour. Call company to say "hey, im coming! But imma be a tad late!!!" Get "no worries, we will let them know."
Arrive, Meer 35 minutes late, okay, doesn't look good. But I gave warning. Even got the okay! Sit down after saying hello, I'm here. Immediately get "unfortunately we declined" email as im sitting in room.
Call hiring company and say "what's going on?" They call mining company. They call me back. I still get interview.
Nailed interview, told right to my face I did. But they deny me a second time. All because of those 35 minutes. "Main issue of retaining people is because they run late." Okay, noted. 2 minutes behind and you are likley fired. And that you guys can't keep people on. Got it.
Have the gumption to tell me "plan for longer to make it" as if I didn't already do that.
Doesn't even fathom giving me or any poor guy or girl the chance simply because life happens.
Id strongly reccomend to go work someplace else. My first time EVER being late for an interview. They had a really hard worker potential. I'm always 10 minutes early to work. Never been late to work. Love giving it my all.
Wasted 1 months and 6 hours of drive time for this. Time i could have spent job hunting.
0/10 not good. Not good at all.
