School administration is not open during dismissal times. Schools dismissals and arrivals are not well thought of. Kids that come to the school look like the kids that where kicked out of regular public schools which I don’t know how they pass a math test to be honest because they show little to no knowledge. Thats about 80% of the students and the teachers even look down at them like they are fed up. My kids tell me that the other students try to steal things from them and that the teachers just have a bad attitude all the time and don’t last long here. I moved my kids here because public schools don’t have advanced classes and I thought this school was going to help them keep growing and even though they do have great structure of the assignments it seems that there is a lack of want from some of the teachers or even staff to actually teach and be a great role model. It sucks that even during lunch a child can’t ask a cafeteria lady where certain things are without this woman having to roll her eyes and ignore a child not just my son. This is disgusting and the behavior should stop. We are only three days in the school and the first time my kids attend this school and they already hate it there. Again not all teachers are bad and they have a great choice of structural subjects to teach, but the attitude is by far the worst I have seen and heard of including in-tell from other parents. Yes it’s most hispanic students and family but that should not be a reason to treat any child that way. It would be racist or prejudice to do so. If you erase this message it’s okay. Just take it into your hearts and yes not all kids are good but that 20-30% don’t need to suffer because Of this.

I love this school!! They’re so friendly when I have questions about the school. 2020 has been hard on my family so I’ve had to take care of my siblings. The staff and educators treat you like family and during times like this you really need the help.

The enrollment leader, Joshua, is amazing and help guide us. He treated us like we were his main focus and made us feel special. He took the time to show us each step and what we had to do to get back to school. He also gave us more resources that we didn’t realize that was available. He made us want to enroll every year. Amazing service!

Overall, I highly recommend this school. You are getting the best education for your kids and you know it’s safe and clean. Amazing staff all around!

I chose this school because of the curriculum, the fact that they have to wear uniforms and (mainly) because the other campus has an A rating from the State so I figured this one would have the same level of education. My child has been this year in kindergarten and so far I have been very happy with the school. He is already able to read and add and subtract, he has grown a lot and he is happy; his teacher, Ms. Erving, is amazing, I can tell because of what and how my son talks about her and also because she keeps a lot of communication with the parents and I've talked to her a lot and I know how she makes learning fun for the kids and how she treat them according to their personalities, she really knows them and care about them. I've met other teachers and members of the staff and all have been very kind with me and my child. One time I had a complain and the Principal immediately addressed it and explained the situation to me. They are a new school so I understand the had had and still have some organization issues, specially in the parking lot, but it is also up to us, the parents, to make things easier in this area and in many cases we don't. About some of the organization issues I addressed the Principal to tell her the problem I saw and a possible way to solve it and, again, she was very welcoming of my comments. My child will continue on that school until he is no longer happy attending or I see that the level of education is not enough, but I think that everyone involved is very interested on improving and making it a great school for the kids. And I don't give them 5 stars because there are still issues with the organization but they are improving.

First off I want to give a huge shout out to the Assistant principal Ms. Johnson! She is on top of things!

My kids and I are happy with the teachers and after the mid year iReady test I saw my kids test scores increase. I was having doubt since they had spent a full year via zoom and I felt they learned nothing. But this year is different and off to a wonderful start!

My only complaint here would be some parents. They can be so rude and then have the nerve to blame the staff. On several occasions I have witnessed parents being rude to staff and then expect to be treated like royalty.

Overall I recommend this school. Its great.

First I would like to start by saying I am giving two stars because my so loves his teacher and he never complains about going to school. If it was up to me I may give a slight lower scoring. The drive line is ridiculous only having one way in and out is hectic time consuming and slightly unsafe. They eat lunch at breakfast time. My son eats lunch at 10am that is 2 hours after he eats breakfast than he has a 6 hour day ahead of him. He come home starving and he takes meds for his disability. What school feeds their kids lunch at breakfast time. It's bad enough the kids are there from 7:30-4:00pm longer than any school but you are making these kids go through the day hungry. Idk about you but I am a grown adult and I need at least 4 hours before I am hungry again. They should not be eating lunch any earlier than 11:30am. 12:00pm is lunch time. It seams they need to learn time management. Also, the office didn't even let his teacher know my son has a 504 plan so right now they are not even following it. I can tell you for a fact because my son is still getting whole packets sent home. My son usually has great grades he has been here 2 months and already is failing. The funny thing is he gets rewards and I get told he is doing great but get a report card that shows he is failing. I really hope I am over reacting and this school gets better. My son needs a school that is here for him and does everything your school promises. Changes need to happen!

Update. Nothing was resolved after the meeting. We are now removing our children from this school. Please use another AMS not this one.

We are new to AMS Camelback and it has been an awful experience. I would not recommend this school.

My child has had an incorrect badge since the first day of school and the school has been unwilling to correct their issue. My Kindergarten teacher quit 3 weeks ago and the school still hasn't informed parents. We get no homework at all nor do we have access to the teacher. My other child in 1st grade is still learning Alphabet and sounds of letters and basic math. I keep asking for curriculum but haven't received one yet. Pickup and drop off are a joke. You will spend over 30minutes in line. I have almost been hit in the line twice. Cars go the wrong way. A total MESS! Office is no help and I had to send a threatening email to the Principal's to get a response. Awful and unprepared place.

This school has been nothing but a disappointment. The front office staff and the person at checkout at the after school care are so rude and condensending. Attitude all the way, this person tried to make feel stupid, even when I asked for the principal information she made it seem like it was a waste of time to reach her. The pickup traffic is ridiculous but the staff is worst than the traffic. The bathroom at aftercare is filty and during this pandemic they require a mask but provide no hand soap for the bathrooms...make no sense. The drop off staff is very efficient and his Kindergarten teacher is a sweetheart. I truly regret not taking the spot at Legacy Traditional Schools when it became available.

Honestly, I know this is a new school but they are having a lot of issues. This is our daughter's first year here because we just moved into this area but the level of teaching is really low, the stuff that my daughters are working on, is the same they did in the last two years In their previous school. You can also go on the school district website to see how schools are doing. The hours are longer but it doesn't necessarily means that they learn more. The teachers are kind of mean to the students. I know a lot of them are trying hard wich we appreciate but I don't think is good enough, yet. Parking lot can be a nightmare at times. We talked to the Principal from my daughter's previous school and they said that base on the outstanding record that my daughters had, they are welcomed back, even if we don't belong to that school because we moved. And believe me we are very involved with our daughter's school .
So good luck, and I hope you guys get better.
