Amazing camp!! The activities are fantastic and varied. Very well organized. Camp counselors are super fun and very energetic. Very easy communicating with Camp Director. There are kids from all over the world at this camp, which makes it very fun. This is the third year my two boys are attending the overnight camp. My boys also raved about the food. Two of their friends attended the information session in spring, they were so impressed that they are also attending overnight camp this summer. Only downfall is that when we went to collect our boys to come home for the weekend, they refused to come home with us and we had to leave without them - no exaggeration!

My daughter can’t imagine a summer going by without attending Mountain Camp Woodside. I just enrolled her for a couple weeks this summer and realized it will be her 4th summer going to MCW! She loves getting to choose from a great variety of activities, thinks the food is awesome, makes tons of new friends and always has amazing counselors. I love that when I pick her up each day she’s exhausted, filthy, and grinning from ear to ear. I was fortunate enough to spend my childhood summers outside in nature and am so glad she’s able to do the same.

My daughter attended the over night camp last year and again this. My son is experiencing the day camp this year... both absolutely love it. The counselors are amazing and the directors are...what's better than amazing? I'm so glad my kiddos get to have this experience.

Didn't hear one complaint and that is unusual. When I asked if he would like to be a counselor there there was a looking pause. Said he couldn't mountain bike. This is huge as he has never been so positive. Plus he is exhausted when I pick him up. (12 yo)

We went to the open house and was amazingly impressed. They take over the Priory in the summer and transform the place into a sleep away camp. This is a great escape for mom and dad to send the kids. The Priory is built on a hill so the kids will surely be exhausted by the end of the day going up and down to all of their activities.
The program has something for everyone.
We are looking forward to the start of summer camp.

I went to this camp between my sophomore and junior year as a CIT and it was waste of time and money. The activities were not exciting or unique. There were not many campers my age and there was very little freedom. I can see how elementary through middle school kids would enjoy this camp, but otherwise I'd recommend not wasting your few high school summers on Mountain Camp at Woodside.

I cannot recommend this camp.
Camp director Jim Politos rescinded a child's enrollment based on parent receiving a refund previous year due to covid. He made it clear he was unhappy. To take it out on an innocent child is not only unprofessional but unethical.
