Some reviewers have praised the organization for its dedication to providing supportive housing services. For example, one reviewer, Lorraine Luongo, stated, "Amber Haughin, has always made me feel important. She's answers all my questions within a day. When I call she answers the phone, or shoots me a text that she will get back to me. She keeps me up to date with all new information on housing. Every few weeks I get emails of new apartments like clock work. I appreciate her hard work. She makes everything less stressful for me. She is one beautiful lady that has gone beyond just doing a job. She really cares and loves her work I can tell.

Thank you for being my Rockstar

This isn’t a real organization. Definitely a front to make it seem like the state of California has resources. They will tell you they will call you back and leave you hanging until after it’s way too late. Also they won’t give you assistance unless you have proof of “sustainable income”. I lost my job and was referred to this place for rental assistance but they won’t help unless you have a job that can pay for rent? What even is this place?

I was referred to this place for emergency housing assistance and they do not honor the rules and regulations of their own website. They claim to help with application fees and first and last. However they really just spin you in circles and string you along. Don’t waste your time the workers assisting clearly don’t know what they can and can’t do for clients. Especially since what their website says they do is not what the supervisors will approve.

As a single mother with two young boys…these people completely betrayed me during the most difficult time. They don’t care about our livelihoods. They are just pushing us through and not even paying attention. They treated me like less than a human. Kind of the same as when you’re trying to get through to any government run business. Evil. I am completely heartbroken and devastated by my recent experience.

I feel everyone of your pains , in this review section , I'm sorry there's no real help for us out here , this is programs for people that make up lies to get housing help, I feel like these people use the vouchers and housing funding to help the people in their own circle, I have a crisis right now and the people here lied to me for over a month pretending to be helping and communicating with HUD to help me and to my surprise there was no speaking to HUD 🤣sad but funny the lady I wont put her name on blast ,she asked me how to do a referral and asked me for huds number as if I knew , this place is a joke. I pray we all find safe shelter somewhere even if it is outdoors

I'm not sure how they operate now, but they were utterly incompetent while I was searching for housing, then threatened to stop funding my hotel room because I wasn't working, even though I had indeed been working and attending school much of the time. They didn't help me find anything that would be affordable in the long term, and often failed to pay the bill on time, causing me to be way too close to sleeping on the streets some nights for comfort.

Very nice staff and helpful with all of your inquiries, finally a place that really cares about people. They are working to give people the basic thing in life that we all take for granted, (like housing) My hat is off to you. Thank you
